摘要: Accurate knowledge of the solar irradiance is required for various climate and energy applications. For these applications as well as irradiance forecasts, estimates of clear sky irradiance are often essential as basis for further calculations. In this paper we comparatively validate clear sky irradiance estimates from four fast clear sky models with varying atmospheric inputs. The comparison is made against in situ irradiance observations from five stations in southern Finland, for four summer months in 2016. The main atmospheric inputs, Aerosol Optical Depth and water vapour, are taken from MACC and ERA-Interim reanalysis datasets. Nearly all models underestimate irradiance in the used sites, with McClear, Pvlib Ineichen and Pvlib Solis with default input performing the best. The use of reanalysis inputs increase the Solis errors, which is considered to be because of the AOD and water vapour climatologies not representing the specific sites and times adequately.

摘要: With the advent of sensing technology, high-resolution data have become ubiquitous among various smart grid applications. Whereas the data provide valuable empirical evidence, they are often, if not always, subject to significant measurement uncertainty. However, nor is there any standardized procedure to quality control (QC) these data. In this regard, this paper investigates the well-known dataset from the Baseline Solar Radiation Network (BSRN). BSRN archives (mostly) 1-min solar irradiance data from 60 stations around the world for over two decades. A six-step QC procedure is demonstrated using the BSRN data.

摘要: This article has task to inform a reader about uncertainties of measurement of spectroradiometric systems with double monochromator. Uncertainty of measurement is very important for all photometric measurements and calculations. Spectroradiometric system’s uncertainty is dependent on wavelength and is difficult to estimate uncertainty of measurement for photometric parameters calculated from measured spectrum. In the first part of this article there is theory necessary for understanding uncertainty analyses and description of construction of spectroradiometric system with double monochromator. In the second part there is practical uncertainty analysis of double monochromator in light laboratory and its results.

摘要: This paper calculates the most optimum angle for solar panel for 365 days of the year individually using geographical location of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Then it calculates total solar irradiation if any angle is kept constant for 365 days. Then it compares the outputs and determines angle for capturing maximum irradiation. Then it verifies the result with another method. The result presents optimum tilt angle for the city of Dhaka.

Outdoor performance of perovskite solar technology: Silicon comparison and competitive advantages at different irradiances
摘要: Perovskite solar cells have shown an impressive performance evolution during the last years. This technology has been mostly tested under laboratory conditions using small area devices. In this work, the outdoor photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells was evaluated under real tropical weather conditions. Specifically, two perovskite modules with active area of 17 and 50 cm2 were fabricated, encapsulated and tested. Taking a commercial silicon panel as reference, both technologies were evaluated for 500 h correlating the in-situ I-V measurements with atmospheric variables measured every minute during the light hours. To obtain the performance and the average outdoor efficiency of devices, we proposed a new adapted methodology based on the standard IEC 61853-1, showing the photovoltaic parameters performance through maps, to graphically visualize their behavior in a broad range of atmospheric conditions. Additionally, we demonstrated that the power delivery and short circuit current of both technologies correlate linearly with the atmospheric variables. Moreover, the open circuit voltage of perovskite technology exhibited a nonlinear behavior and an improved performance with temperature at high irradiance regimes. This work presents reliable information concerning perovskite solar technology performance under real outdoor operation conditions, being this crucial to identify competitive advantages of this technology and the aspects to be improved.

A new parameterization of the UV irradiance altitude dependence for clear-sky conditions and its application in the on-line UV tool over Northern Eurasia
摘要: A new method for calculating the altitude UV dependence is proposed for different types of biologically active UV radiation (erythemally-weighted, vitamin-D-weighted and cataract-weighted types). We show that for the specified groups of parameters the altitude UV amplification (AUV) can be presented as a composite of independent contributions of UV amplification from different factors within a wide range of their changes with mean uncertainty of 1% and standard deviation of 3% compared with the exact model simulations with the same input parameters. The parameterization takes into account for the altitude dependence of molecular number density, ozone content, aerosol and spatial surface albedo. We also provide generalized altitude dependencies of the parameters for evaluating the AUV. The resulting comparison of the altitude UV effects using the proposed method shows a good agreement with the accurate 8-stream DISORT model simulations with correlation coefficient r>0.996. A satisfactory agreement was also obtained with the experimental UV data in mountain regions. Using this parameterization we analyzed the role of different geophysical parameters in UV variations with altitude. The decrease in molecular number density, especially at high altitudes, and the increase in surface albedo play the most significant role in the UV growth. Typical aerosol and ozone altitude UV effects do not exceed 10-20%. Using the proposed parameterization implemented in the on-line UV tool (http://momsu.ru/uv/) for Northern Eurasia over the PEEX domain we analyzed the altitude UV increase and its possible effects on human health considering different skin types and various open body fraction for January and April conditions in the Alpine region.

Classifying ground-measured 1?minute temporal variability within hourly intervals for direct normal irradiances
摘要: Variability of solar surface irradiances in the 1 minute range is of interest especially for solar energy applications. Eight variability classes are defined for the 1 minute resolved direct normal irradiance (DNI) variability inside an hour. They combine high, medium, and low irradiance conditions with small, medium, and large scale variations from one minute to the next minute. A reference data base of 333 individual hours with ground-based 1 minute DNI observations was created by expert review from one year of observations at the BSRN station in Carpentras, France. Each variability class is represented by 16 to 63 members. Variability indices as previously published or newly suggested are used as classifiers to detect the class members automatically. Up to 77 % of all class members are identified correctly by this automatic scheme. The variability classification method allows the comparison of different project sites in a statistical and automatic manner to quantify short-term variability impacts on solar power production.

摘要: Bifacial silicon solar module has received considerable attention in recent years due to increasing the performance of photovoltaic plants. The passivated emitter and rear cell (PERC) bifacial silicon solar cell reduces contact improves open-circuit voltage and cell recombination, and performance. In this paper, recombination behaviour of passivated emitter and rear cell (PERC) bifacial silicon solar module under different illuminations was investigated. It is found that the J01 of bifacial PERC solar module decreases with increasing irradiance intensity, and the J02 is nearly constant from low injection to high injection. This shows that the PERC bifacial silicon solar module has more advantage in the field compared to Al-BSF solar module.

An On-Line Low-Cost Irradiance Monitoring Network with Sub-Second Sampling Adapted to Small-Scale PV Systems
摘要: Very short-term solar forecasts are gaining interest for their application on real-time control of photovoltaic systems. These forecasts are intimately related to the cloud motion that produce variations of the irradiance field on scales of seconds and meters, thus particularly impacting in small photovoltaic systems. Very short-term forecast models must be supported by updated information of the local irradiance field, and solar sensor networks are positioning as the more direct way to obtain these data. The development of solar sensor networks adapted to small-scale systems as microgrids is subject to specific requirements: high updating frequency, high density of measurement points and low investment. This paper proposes a wireless sensor network able to provide snapshots of the irradiance field with an updating frequency of 2 Hz. The network comprised 16 motes regularly distributed over an area of 15 m × 15 m (4 motes × 4 motes, minimum intersensor distance of 5 m). The irradiance values were estimated from illuminance measurements acquired by lux-meters in the network motes. The estimated irradiances were validated with measurements of a secondary standard pyranometer obtaining a mean absolute error of 24.4 W/m2 and a standard deviation of 36.1 W/m2. The network was able to capture the cloud motion and the main features of the irradiance field even with the reduced dimensions of the monitoring area. These results and the low-cost of the measurement devices indicate that this concept of solar sensor networks would be appropriate not only for photovoltaic plants in the range of MW, but also for smaller systems such as the ones installed in microgrids.

A gridded optimization model for photovoltaic applications
摘要: This study aims to develop a gridded optimization model for studying photovoltaic applications in Nordic countries. The model uses the spatial and temporal data generated by the mesoscale models STR?NG and MESAN developed by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute. The model is developed based on the comparison between five irradiance databases, three decomposition models, two transposition models, and two photovoltaic models. Several techno-economic and environmental aspects of photovoltaic systems and photovoltaic systems integrated with batteries are investigated from a spatial perspective.
