  • A multifunctional and highly flexible triboelectric nanogenerator based on MXene-enabled porous film integrated with laser-induced graphene electrode

    摘要: The ambient dissipated energy such as the vast scale of mechanical energy in the agricultural system (e.g., leaf swing energy) and the writing motion existing extensively in our daily life are underutilized. Herein, to address these issues and overcome the limitations of conventional batteries, we fabricated a highly ?exible and e?ective triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) based on MXene and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) composite (PDMS/MXene) ?lm and laser-induced graphene (LIG) electrode. The introduction of conductive and electronegative MXene into PDMS to fabricate porous ?lm, not only enhances the electrical conductivity but also increases the triboelectronegativity. As a result, the output performance is signi?cantly improved, 7-fold greater than the pure ?at PDMS-based TENG. The developed TENG with excellent performance, considerable adhesion, and outstanding ?exibility was successfully applied for harvesting leaf swing energy and being used as a writing board to collect writing energy. Furthermore, we developed a MXene-based TENG array acting as a self-powered sensor for handwriting recognition. In this regard, MXene-enabled TENG possesses a great promising in harvesting mechanical energy from the agricultural ?eld (e.g., leaf swing energy) and human activities (e.g., writing), moreover, it can further be applied in writing or tactile sensing for pad, robotics, and man-machine interaction ?eld.

  • Simultaneous measurement of CO and OH in flames using a single broadband, femtosecond laser pulse

    摘要: In this short communication, we report simultaneous measurement of CO and OH in flames using a single femtosecond (fs)-duration laser source. Two-photon excitation of CO A 1 (cid:2) ←← X 1 ?+ (3,0), (4,0) and (5,0) bands and single-photon excitation of OH A 2 ?+ ← X 2 (cid:2) (1,0) band are achieved simultaneously using one fs-duration laser pulse near 283 nm. Subsequently, crosstalk-free, laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) emissions are detected from the v’ = 3, 4 and 5 upper vibrational levels of CO in the 200–230 nm region, and (1,1) and (0,0) bands of OH near the 310-nm region. A detailed spectroscopic investigation of CO in a gas cell is followed by simultaneous detection of CO and OH in C 2 H 4 /air flames. The measured CO and OH profiles as a function of flame equivalence ratio agree well with equilibrium calculations. The present study extends the applicability of broadband fs-LIF imaging of OH in flames, and reveal an alternate method to obtain heat release rate in turbulent flames via simultaneous OH and CO measurements.

  • Laser-Induced Optoacoustic Spectroscopy Studies of Inorganic Functionalized Metallic Nanorods

    摘要: Plasmonic nanoparticles can be used in photothermal therapy thanks to their ability to generate local heat. The light-to-heat conversion efficiency is crucial for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. The photothermal properties of gold nanorods functionalized with silica layers of controllable thickness were characterized using both theoretical and experimental approaches. The time-resolved laser-induced optoacoustic spectroscopy (LIOAS) was used to determine the amount of absorbed energy changed promptly into heat. The heat generation efficiencies were simulated by the means of finite integration technique. The obtained parameters were correlated with silica thickness. Experimental results are consistent with theoretical predictions, thus LIOAS is a unique reliable method for studying photothermal effect in gold nanoparticles.

  • Progress in Research and Application of Micro-Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy

    摘要: The technique of micro-laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (μLIBS) usually refers to analyzing the surface of the sample using a compact focused laser beam in the optical microscope range. Compared to conventional laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), it can provide more abundant form, structure, and content information on a smaller, less sample condition. Hence, the application field is very wide. In this paper, the basic status of μLIBS in the selection of laser source and the structure of optical path system is introduced, and its application in metal, semiconductor, animal and plant fields is reviewed. The existing problems and potential development direction is pointed out.

  • Laser induced graphene /ceramic membrane composite: Preparation and characterization

    摘要: In this work, laser induced graphene (LIG) was successfully fabricated on microporous ceramic membranes. The surface area, morphology, and chemical characterizations were performed on the LIG layer. Water contact angle measurements showed the hydrophobicity of LIG. Pure water and solvents with different polarities were used to understand the solvent flux behavior of LIG membrane. The LIG membrane showed very high non-polar solvent fluxes and remarkably low water permeability, and thus, the transport through the LIG membrane is related to dipole moment and dielectric constant, represented by solvent polarity. The LIG membrane achieved 90% rejection for 255 nm diameter silica particles, suggesting the presence of submicron size connecting pore channels that dominate the transport mechanism.

  • On the Role of a ZDDP in the Tribological Performance of Femtosecond Laser-Induced Periodic Surface Structures on Titanium Alloy against Different Counterbody Materials

    摘要: Laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPSS, ripples) with ~500–700 nm period were produced on titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) surfaces upon scan processing in air by a Ti:sapphire femtosecond laser. The tribological performance of the surfaces were quali?ed in linear reciprocating sliding tribological tests against balls made of di?erent materials using di?erent oil-based lubricants. The corresponding wear tracks were characterized by optical and scanning electron microscopy and confocal pro?lometry. Extending our previous work, we studied the admixture of the additive 2-ethylhexyl-zinc-dithiophosphate to a base oil containing only anti-oxidants and temperature stabilizers. The presence of this additive along with the variation of the chemical composition of the counterbodies allows us to explore the synergy of the additive with the laser-oxidized nanostructures.

  • Research on Laser-TIG Hybrid Welding of 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloys Joint and Post Heat Treatment

    摘要: The 6061-T6 aluminum (Al) alloys was joined by the laser induced tungsten inert gas (TIG) hybrid welding technique. It mainly studied the influences of welding parameters, solution, and aging (STA) treatment on the microstructure and tensile properties of Al alloy hybrid welding joints. Microstructures of the joints were also analyzed by optical microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Results showed that the laser induced arc hybrid welding source changed the microstructure of the fusion zone and heat effect zone. STA treatment effectively improved the mechanical properties of the softening area in the hybrid welding joint, whose values of the tensile strength and elongation were on average 286 MPa and 20.5%. The distribution of the reinforcement phases and dislocations distributed were more uniform, which improved the property of STA treated joint.

  • A highly flexible and selective dopamine sensor based on Pt-Au nanoparticle-modified laser-induced graphene

    摘要: A highly flexible and selective electrochemical sensor based on a Pt-Au nanoparticles (Pt-AuNPs) modified laser-induced graphene (LIG)/Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) electrode is presented for the detection of dopamine (DA). The Pt-AuNPs exhibited high electrocatalytic activity in response to the oxidation of DA, and the peak current of DA detected by the Pt-AuNPs/LIG/PDMS electrode linearly increased with DA concentration. The fabricated sensor also exhibited an excellent sensitivity of approximately 865.80 μA/mM cm?2 and a detection limit of 75 nM in a neutral solution. In addition, it showed high selectivity for interfering compounds such as like uric acid (UA) and ascorbic acid (AA). Clearly defined current peaks, with a separation of approximately 0.11 V, were observed for DA and UA. Finally, DA was successfully detected in human urine.

  • Time resolved and time integrated analysis of the AXUV photodiode diagnostics for EUV and soft X-ray emission of nanosecond-laser-produced plasma

    摘要: This paper addresses the experimental results and analysis of the time-resolved and time-integrated of AXUV (absolute extreme ultraviolet) photodiode diagnostics. These results are obtained by the measurement of EUV and soft X-ray (SX) power radiation of plasma-produced under the interaction of laser pulse (intensity ~5 × 1011 W/cm2, pulse durations in the range of 10?30 ns and wavelength 1064 nm) with one steel-316 target. The EUV and SX signals with the three speci?c peaks are detected by AXUV photodiode. From the analysis of time resolved of the AXUV signal, it is inferred that the ?rst signal peak can dominantly be related to the free-free transition mechanism of radiation and also the latter related to the free-band and bond-bond transitions respectively. The energy of EUV and SX pulse emission is observed to be approximately linear, proportional to the laser pulse energy. The time integrated results show that, the average energy conversion e?ciency is determined to be about 3.7 %.

  • Copper particle contamination detection of oil-immersed transformer using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy

    摘要: The deterioration of transformer oil caused by particle contamination, especially copper particle, seriously affects the safe operation of oil-immersed transformers. Therefore, it is very important for the detection of metal particles in transformer oil. A new method based on laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) was first applied in the transformer oil diagnosis field. By screening out effective spots, the correlation between Cu particle concentration and LIBS signal was obtained after testing a set of oil samples with concentration range from 0.54 to 12.4 μg/g; the calibration curves of Cu I 324.75 nm / CN 358.6 nm and Cu I 327.39 nm /CN 358.6 nm were therefore established. The results shown high linearity, and the determination coefficient R2 of the two calibration curves in range from 0.54 to 3.1 μg/g were superior to 0.99. The limit of detection (LOD) inferred from Cu I 324.75 nm /CN 358.6 nm fitting curve was 0.77 μg/g and met the critical value specified by industry standards. Due to its flexibility, it can be used as a new-type of particle concentration detection method for transformer oil.
