  • The Automatic Measuring System Suitable for the Simplified Very Small Phase Difference Measurement Circuit

    摘要: In order to implement the measurement and evaluation of analog signals in high accuracy, to detect not only amplitude level but also phase information is necessary. Particularly, measurement of very small phase difference is desired in fields such as electric power and organism-related. Therefore, we have proposed the simplified very small phase difference measurement circuit with automatic measuring system using microcontroller (Arduino) and automatic amplitude adjustment program. In this paper, we examine a new automatic measuring system in order to improve the measurement accuracy.

  • Evaluation und Korrektur thermischer Driften eines hochfrequent fokusabstandsmodulierten, fasergekoppelten konfokalen Punktsensors / Evaluation and correction of thermal drifts using a high-speed focal-distance-modulated fibre-coupled confocal sensor

    摘要: The article presents the determination of the measurement precision of a high-speed focal-distance-modulated fiber-coupled confocal sensor under thermally stable conditions. Thermal drifts cause significant deviations, particularly in the micro- and nano-measuring range. Although these deviations can be corrected mainly in repeated measurements, this is not possible within one single measurement. The used nano-coordinate measuring system (NMM-1) was therefore extended by a thermostating housing to minimize thermal drifts. Furthermore, the temperature is recorded by means of calibrated Pt100 temperature sensors during the measurements in order to determine the correlation of the measurement result and the temperature. This article emphasizes the possiblity of a correction of the measurement results based on the recorded temperatures.

    摘要: The manufacturing of significant products with help of laser beam welding technologies requires higher stability characteristics of such technologies; this explains the necessity to run on-line testing procedures of through pro-melting process. This type of testing can be carried out by the registration of plasma streams that occur under a work piece by through pro-melting [i.e. metal undergoes an intensive laser beam thermal processing].

The calibration of the dividers based on the step-up method and a comparison system based on two Keysight-3458 digital multimeters working up to 50 kHz are described. This activity is part of a joint project of the National Metrology Institutes of Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina.

  • The Measuring System for the Thomson Scattering Diagnostics of the GOL-3 and GDT Facilities

    摘要: The measuring system for Thomson scattering diagnostics of the GOL-3 and GDT facilities at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics is described. The system has a modular architecture and is based on eight-channel measuring subsystems, including photodetectors, two-channel recorders (ADC12500), synchronization modules, and the Ethernet/UART communication channel adapter. The photodetectors are based on avalanche photodiodes and are operable in the frequency range of 0–50 MHz. The ADC12500 recorders are used to measure scattering signals with a duration of ~20–30 ns at a sampling rate of to 500 MHz and an amplitude resolution of 12 bits and accumulate data in a buffer memory with a capacity as large as 2 MB.
