  • Optimization of CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite solar cells: A theoretical and experimental study

    摘要: In this work, an experimental and theoretical study on CH3NH3PbI3 perovskite solar cells was performed. A theoretical validation of experimental results in perovskite solar cells with e?ciencies of 13.32% is presented. An optimization study which involves the spiro-OMeTAD and perovskite thickness’ in?uence on electrical output parameters (Voc, Jsc, FF and PCE) showed a promotion of solar cell e?ciency to 15.50% under 100 nm and 400 nm for hole transport material and absorber, respectively. The importance of the di?usion length of the absorber is discussed. In order to enhance the e?ciency, a study of defect density (NT) was applied at the range of 1016 cm?3 (experimental) to 1010 cm?3 (theoretical) where we achieved an e?ciency of 20.26%. The present work illustrates the importance of thickness optimization and the reduction of defect density (by the improvement of the quality of processed ?lm) to obtain a better performance of this type of solar cell. Furthermore, the relevance of the implementation of a back contact with higher work function was studied.

  • Determination of the limiting values of the laser parameters to heat treatment of powder carbon steels surface

    摘要: The microstructure and microhardness of the surface layer of powder steels PA-ZhGr with different porosity are studied in comparison with cast steel U10 after laser treatment (LT) with a 1 kW fiber laser in argon. Using thermal modeling, the geometric dimensions of the laser exposure zones formed in the area of the laser exposure were calculated and experimentally confirmed, and the mechanisms of their formation were proposed. The boundary values of the integral criterion for the parameters of laser influence for the heat treatment of carbon powder steels are established.

  • Digital Modeling and Display of Ancient Architecture Based on Multi-Station Laser Scanning

    摘要: In order to better display and protect ancient Chinese architecture, a three-dimensional model reconstruction method based on multi-station laser scanning is proposed. This method mainly includes several steps, such as point cloud data collection, preconditioning, multi-site cloud data fusion, point cloud data compression, 3D model reconstruction and texture mapping, environment rendering, video processing, and 3D roaming. According to the requirement of video rendering and virtual roaming, we focus on cloud processing, 3D modeling and 3D model display in this paper. Experimental results show that an famous building named Enshi Dong Drum Tower is well digitally reconstructed, so as to result in ethnic characteristics and cultural heritage protection in practical application.

    摘要: Future and current high-performance computing applications will have to change and adapt as node architectures evolve. The application of advanced architecture simulators will play a crucial role for the design and optimization of future data intensive applications. In this paper, we present our simulation-based framework for analyzing the scalability and performance of a number of critical optimizations of a massively parallel genomic search application, mpiBLAST, using an advanced macroscale simulator (SST/macro). We report the use of our framework for the evaluation of three potential improvements of mpiBLAST: 1) enabling high-performance parallel output; 2) an approach for caching database fragments in memory; and 3) a methodology for pre-distributing database segments. In our experimental setup, we performed query sequence matching on the genome of the yellow fever mosquito, Aedes aegypti.

    摘要: This paper presents a physics-based compact modeling approach that incorporates the impact of total ionizing dose (TID) and stress-induced defects into simulations of metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) devices and integrated circuits (ICs). This approach utilizes calculations of surface potential (ψs) to capture the charge contribution from oxide trapped charge and interface traps and to describe their impact on MOS electrostatics and device operating characteristics as a function of ionizing radiation exposure and aging effects. The modeling approach is demonstrated for bulk and silicon-on-insulator (SOI) MOS device. The formulation is verified using TCAD simulations and through the comparison of model calculations and experimental I-V characteristics from irradiated devices. The modeling approach is suitable for simulating TID and aging effects in advanced MOS devices and ICs, and is compatible with modern MOSFET compact modeling techniques. A circuit-level demonstration is given for TID and aging effects in SRAM cells.

    摘要: Quasi-static time-series (QSTS) analysis of distribution systems can provide critical information about the potential impacts of high penetrations of distributed and renewable resources, like solar photovoltaic systems. However, running high-resolution yearlong QSTS simulations of large distribution feeders can be prohibitively burdensome due to long computation times. Temporal parallelization of QSTS simulations is one possible solution to overcome this obstacle. QSTS simulations can be divided into multiple sections, e.g. into four equal parts of the year, and solved simultaneously with parallel computing. The challenge is that each time the simulation is divided, error is introduced. This paper presents various initialization methods for reducing the error associated with temporal parallelization of QSTS simulations and characterizes performance across multiple distribution circuits and several different computers with varying architectures.

  • Simulated development and optimized performance of CsPbI3 based all-inorganic perovskite solar cells

    摘要: Cesium lead iodide (CsPbI3), as one promising inorganic halide perovskite for higher stability, has received extensive attention in recent years. However, CsPbI3 based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have yet to realize the high e?ciency achieved in organic-inorganic hybrid PSCs. In this work, we perform a device modeling by SCAPS-1D to investigate the limitation of CsPbI3 all-inorganic PSC (CsPbI3 i-PSCs) and improve its performance. For i-PSC, not only the absorber but all the layers should be composed of inorganic materials only. Therefore, several potential inorganic hole and electron transport layers (i-HTL and i-ETL) are compared ?rstly and the results reveal that Cu2O HTL and SnO2 ETL are the most suitable materials among them. Moreover, the device performance is further improved by optimizing the work function of back electrode, absorber thickness, doping density as well as defect density. Under optimized conditions, a conversion e?ciency of 21.31% is obtained for the FTO/SnO2/CsPbI3/Cu2O/Au i-PSC, indicating that there is much room for further performance enhancement.

    摘要: Non-radiative (NR) carrier recombination limits the efficiency of photovoltaic energy conversion. Minority carrier lifetimes in Si exhibit a variety of dependences on optical injection levels, depending on the types of defects present. To date, models of non-radiative recombination in silicon were proposed for point defects (e.g., Fe interstitials) and extended defects (e.g., dislocations). Direct measurement of local carrier concentration near recombination centers is technically difficult, therefore, computational modeling may be helpful to understand various carrier recombination pathways in materials such as mc-Si. In this paper, modeling is used to compare intensity-dependent NR recombination lifetimes in Si. The usefulness of the model goes beyond mc-Si photovoltaics.

    摘要: This work presents improvements to the widely used NREL PVWatts photovoltaic system energy model to improve modeling accuracy for typical ?xed and one axis system designs. The aim is to calculate losses in the PV system assuming typical modern system design practices, while maintaining simplicity by keeping the required set of input parameters small. These improvements allow users to more credibly and quickly evaluate competing system designs in early stage feasibility. Common submodels for module cover, spectral, snow, tracker, transformer, plant controller, and self-shading losses, in addition to a bifacial gain option, are incorporated into the PVWatts model, and are shown to improve PVWatts’ system performance prediction capabilities without major impact to ease of use. We anticipate including these improvements in a future release of NREL’s open source PVWatts code, and some of the features may become available in the System Advisor Model (SAM) desktop software as well as the popular PVWatts web application.
