摘要: Integrated atomic force microscope (AFM) and confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM) can quickly obtain the three-dimensional (3-D) surface of the sample in large scanning range and recover the region of interesting (ROI) in nanoscale resolution. However, the traditional cooperative algorithm for integrated microscopes occupies too much scanning time. In this work, we develop a novel cooperative algorithm for the integrated microscopes to reduce scanning time of AFM and achieve higher scanning speed. First, the calibration of the microscopes will be implemented. Next, CLSM starts a large range scan first and then define the region of interesting (ROI) by edge detection. And then, the scan regions of the AFM are arranged based on the ROI and adaptive scanning region method is proposed to reduce the scanning time. Furthermore, variable speed scanning based on the height information obtained from CLSM image is applied to increase the AFM scanning speed. Finally, the scanning images obtained from AFM and CLSM are merged together. A series of experimental results show that proposed cooperative algorithm can save approximately 69.2% of scanning time compared with that obtained by traditional cooperative algorithm.

Practical aspects of landslides surveys using terrestrial laser scanning in diverse geomorphological terrains: case studies from Polish Carpathians and Lower Vistula Valley
摘要: High-resolution digital elevation models from terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) in recent years have been more and more often used at various stages of landslide surveys. The article presents examples of TLS use in landslide research in areas that differ in morphogenesis: in mountains and in a lowland river valley. The examples concern the monitoring of mass movements from short and long distances (up to 3100 m), generation of differential models, and estimation of surface deformation. We also discussed the limitations of TLS measurements.

Multiplexed surface plasmon imaging of serum biomolecules: Fe3O4@Au Core/shell nanoparticles with plasmonic simulation insights
摘要: Nano-biosensors that are not only sensitive and selective, but also enable multiplex detection of ultra-low levels of both large and small biomolecules in clinical sample matrices are essential for in vitro diagnostics. We present herein a multiplex surface plasmon microarray design that employs citrate-stabilized Fe3O4@Au core/shell nanoparticles (NPs) as the plasmon signal ampli?cation label for combined detection of serum proteins and nucleotide markers. The multiplex sensing is demonstrated using two interleukins (IL-6 and IL-8) and two microRNAs (miRNA-21 and miRNA-155) in 10% serum, which is clinically relevant than simple bu?er solution based biosensors. We observed that the surface plasmon signal change for larger proteins even at higher concentrations was less than the relatively smaller miRNA molecules. We draw two conclusions from this result: (i) the number of selectively bound analytes onto the sensor (i.e., antigen for an antibody or miRNA for a capture nucleotide) in?uences the signal change, and (ii) the extent of interaction of the detection probe carrying core/shell NP labels with the sensor surface plasmons in?uences the amount of signal change. Results indicate that both factors, (i) and (ii), are greater for small oligonucleotide hybridization assembly than a large sandwich protein immunoassembly. The core/shell NPs o?ered several fold enhanced sensitivity and wider dynamic range of detection over assays without using them. With recently growing attention on in vitro diagnostics for painless/minimally-invasive detection of diseases and abnormalities, ?ndings presented herein are important for designing novel multiplex biosensors for real sample analysis in complex matrices.

Human Target Tracking using a 3D Laser Range Finder based on SJPDAF by Filtering the Laser Scanned Point Clouds
摘要: Various researches on mobile robot have been conducted and this has led to target tracking being a part of the mainstream based on mobile robot. Target tracking is the process of target recognition and data association. Target recognition is to make the feature data from a target, and it is coming from the analysis of the target data. Raw data from sensors make the target data and it could be the ?rst recognition step for the target. Data association is about the way to track the target. It is the continuous comparison and association between previous and present target data with time. In this paper, we focus on improving target recognition performance by ?ltering data received from laser sensors. The key idea to the ?ltering process is extracting data consisting of hips from three-dimensional data. This process provides a clearer standard of distinction between people. The tracking people algorithm is based on SJPDAF to manage the occlusion situation. Experimental results from our study show that the new proposed tracking method is robust in practical environments.

Solar Engineering of Thermal Processes, Photovoltaics and Wind || Flata??Plate Collectors
摘要: A solar collector is a special kind of heat exchanger that transforms solar radiant energy into heat. A solar collector differs in several respects from more conventional heat exchangers. The latter usually accomplish a fluid-to-fluid exchange with high heat transfer rates and with radiation as an unimportant factor. In the solar collector, energy transfer is from a distant source of radiant energy to a fluid. The flux of incident radiation is, at best, approximately 1100 W∕m2 (without optical concentration), and it is variable. The wavelength range is from 0.3 to 3??m, which is considerably shorter than that of the emitted radiation from most energy-absorbing surfaces. Thus, the analysis of solar collectors presents unique problems of low and variable energy fluxes and the relatively large importance of radiation.

Chalcogenide || Lead salt photodetectors and their optoelectronic characterization
摘要: Lead salt photoconductors produced by chemical bath deposition are popular IR photodetectors due to their outstanding performance-to-cost ratio, high room temperature performance (D(cid:3) . 1E10) and availability of large area detectors. History of lead salt detectors has been reviewed recognizing some more recent research developments. The chemical bath deposition technique for production of the lead salt detectors has been outlined, followed by a review of the basics for their characterization. Spectral responses of both PbS and PbSe detectors collected in a wide temperature range and properly corrected have been presented.

Method for measuring main characteristics of electron-optical cameras
摘要: A procedure is described for determining the basic parameters of linear-sweep electron-optical cameras. The techniques are considered for measuring the limiting temporal resolution and dynamic range of the PS-1/S1 camera using a femtosecond laser and sinusoidal-modulated laser radiation.

Photodetector of Shortwave Infrared Range of Format 640 × 512 Elements with Increased Dynamic Range
摘要: The paper substantiates the necessity of expanding the dynamic range in a shortwave infrared (SWIR) photodetector (PD). The traditionally used methods have low efficiency, especially in large-format matrices with a step of not more than 15 μm. The greatest efficiency of expanding the dynamic range (up to 100 dB) is provided by accumulative cells with individually variable transfer characteristic depending on the brightness of the fragments of the observed scene. The paper proposes a simple, in topological implementation, and effective way of expanding the dynamic range based on the auto-tuning of accumulation time individually in each cell of the integrated reading circuit. At the same time, the high steepness and linearity of the transformation in the storage cells with moderate illumination (up to 50–70% of the maximum signal) remains, but the sensitivity in the cells close to saturation decreases. As a result, a linear-log transfer characteristic is formed, providing an extended dynamic range. The paper provides examples of images with an extended dynamic range obtained using the first domestic SWIR camera of format 640 × 512 elements.

Wavelength-selective degradation of perovskite-based solar cells
摘要: The J-V characteristics of perovskite-based solar cells were measured under selective irradiation in three different domains of the solar spectrum: blue, red and near infrared (NIR). It was found out that even in the inert atmosphere a long-term exposure to both blue and red sources leads to formation of PbI2, but in the former case the degradation of hybrid perovskite is greater due to further photolysis of PbI2. Consequently, the cell performance under illumination with the red light decreases insignificantly. The NIR irradiance improves the perovskite stoichiometry so that the photovoltaic parameters of the cells increase with the exposure time. These features are undistinguishable under continuous sunlight. Therefore, the wavelength-selective J-V measurements piece together the jigsaw of light-induced degradation of hybrid perovskites and open new strategies for the improvement of the device stability.

Excitation of Low-Frequency Surface Modes in the Plasma Layer Under the Action of Two-Frequency Laser Radiation
摘要: We construct the theory of generation of low-frequency surface eigenmodes in a rare?ed plasma layer under the action of two-frequency laser radiation. We show that a signi?cant increase in the energy of the plasma-layer low-frequency eigenmode occurs under resonance conditions, where the frequency of the mode coincides with the di?erence in laser frequencies. We establish that under the resonance conditions the energy ?ux density carried by the low-frequency eigenmode can be comparable to the laser-radiation intensity.
