  • Novel Cyanoarylporphyrazines with Triazole Groups at the Macrocycle Periphery as Potential Sensibilizers of Photodynamic Therapy and Optical Probes of Intracellular Viscosity

    摘要: Novel fluorescent dyes of the cyanoarylporphyrazine series containing peripheral triazole groups have been synthesized. Their photophysical properties and the local viscosity effect on the fluorescence have been studied. The experiments with cell cultures have revealed rapid accumulation of the dyes in the cells cytoplasm. Photo- and dark cytotoxicity of the compounds have been evaluated by means of the MTT test.

  • Preparation of ordered mesoporous Au using double gyroid mesoporous silica KIT-6 via a seed-mediated growth process

    摘要: Ordered mesoporous Au was prepared using double-gyroid (cubic Ia3d) mesoporous silica KIT-6 as a template. The Au frameworks were formed within the template via a seed-mediated growth process. Au nanoparticles were initially prepared as seeds within the mesopores, and subsequently, they were grown under mild and controlled reducing conditions. The transmission electron micrographs and scanning electron micrographs of mesoporous Au after the removal of the template revealed the formation of mesoporous Au replicas. The small-angle X-ray scattering pattern of mesoporous Au reveals that the obtained mesoporous Au has a cubic I4132 mesostructure, which is different from that of the original template, implying that Au was deposited within only one mesochannel of the two interconnected ones. The seed-mediated growth process is a key factor in the successful formation of ordered mesoporous Au using a mesoporous silica template. Our preparative method can serve as a guide for further development of synthetic and materials chemistry of mesoporous Au.

  • Synthesis of surface-replicated ultra-thin silica hollow nanofibers using structurally different carbon nanofibers as templates

    摘要: Ultra-thin silica hollow nano?bers were successfully synthesized using three kinds of well-de?ned carbon nano?bers (CNFs) with di?erent surface structures as e?ective templates via pyrolysis of polycarbomethylsilane-coated CNFs. The prepared silica hollow nano?bers replicated the characteristic surface morphologies of the CNFs, such as herringbone, platelet, and tubular types with edge or basal planes. Especially, the unique HCNF template, with tiny ?bril aggregates on the surface, was the most e?ective template material for synthesizing ultra-thin silica hollow nano?bers with uniform and hierarchical meso-pores and high surface areas (over than 680 m2/g). The chemical and physical properties of the silica nano?bers were evaluated with various analytical techniques, such as TGA, HR-TEM, FE-SEM, XRD, XPS, and N2 adsorption/desorption, and discussed in detail.

    摘要: Nanostructures research plays a crucial role in the transformation of breakthrough scientific ideas into next-generation technology. In the way that silicon revolutionized the microelectronics industry, plasmonic nanostructures can greatly impact on the field of analytical instruments for molecular analysis of materials, even biological objects. Currently, research in the plasmonics has been faced the problem of choosing the optimal plasmonic nanostructures in order to realize useful devices. Usually, metal components such as gold, silver and copper serve for working elements of plasmon-active surfaces, which have a number of advantages in comparison with other materials. However, on the stage of devises design, the choice even between three different metals causes great difficulties. In order to take the first steps to solve this problem, here we consider the criteria for plasmon-active metals choice, and also give examples of Au, Ag, and Cu nanostructures obtained by the controlled self-assembly in limited pore volume of the SiO2/Si template for SERS applications.
