  • Adaptive Backstepping-based H∞ Robust con-troller for Photovoltaic Grid-connected Inverter

    摘要: To improve the robustness and stability of the photovoltaic grid-connected inverter system, a nonlinear backstepping-based H∞ controller is proposed. A generic dynamical model of grid-connected inverters is built with the consideration of uncertain parameters and external disturbances that cannot be accurately measured. According to this, the backstepping H∞ controller is designed by combining techniques of adaptive backstepping control and L2-gain robust control. The Lyapunov function is used to design the backstepping controller, and the dissipative inequality is recursively designed. The storage functions of the DC capacitor voltage and grid current are constructed, respectively, and the nonlinear H∞ controller and the parameter update law are obtained. Experimental results show that the proposed controller has the advantage of strong robustness to parameter variations and external disturbances. The proposed controller can also accurately track the references to meet the requirements of high-performance control of grid-connected inverters.

  • Adaptive controllers for a piezoelectric actuator without and with discontinuity

    摘要: This paper deals with the dynamics and adaptive control of a piezoelectric micro-electromechanical device without and with discontinuity. The modelling of the device with a discontinuity is carried out and its dynamics is studied using the bifurcation diagram to observe the regions of periodic and chaotic motions. The Lyapunov theory is used to design adaptive controllers to restore the prescribed dynamics of the system when it is subjected to a short variation of one of its parameters. The efficiency of the controllers is tested using numerical simulations.

    摘要: In this work, we use the Backstepping controller with integral option to track the maximum power point of a photovoltaic (PV) system. The controller is applied in three cases of the solar panel. In the first case the PV without resistances: series and shunt resistances, while in the second case the PV with series and shunt resistances, the third case consist of PV with constant series resistance, and therefore, shunt resistance values are changed up to plus 50%, without forgetting the variation of the weather conditions solar irradiation and temperature, to check whether the controller is rigor and robust enough. The system under study contains PV associated to a load via DC/DC Boost converter, and we have a Backstepping control design integrated the integral option added to ameliorate the strong control performance of nonlinear controller. The Backstepping strategy for getting the optimal power point and system stability is used Lyapunov’s analysis. The system and the control method is analyzed with a simulation model that was based Simulink/Matlab.
