Highly -sensitive near infrared luminescent nanothermometers based on binary mixture
摘要: We propose a simple strategy to obtain a luminescence intensity ratio nanothermometer operating in the near infrared range (1000 – 1700 nm) by use of binary mixtures of lanthanide doped Y2O3 selected as 1%Ho - Y2O3 + 1%Er - Y2O3 and 1%Ho - Y2O3 + 1%Nd - Y2O3. All nanoparticles were synthetized by citrate complexation method and thermally annealed at 800 °C. The temperature evolution of the emission properties was monitored in the range of 297 – 472 K and analyzed in terms of emission shape, intensity, dynamics, excitation wavelength, acquisition mode and weight ratio of the binary mixture. A maximum relative sensitivity of 1%K-1 at 297 K was recorded for the 3:1 weight ratio Ho – Y2O3 + Er – Y2O3 binary mixture upon excitation at 536.8 nm. For the more appropriate excitation wavelength for bioimaging applications at 649.7 nm, a relative sensitivity of 0.55 - 0.6 % K-1 was recorded in the relevant physiological temperature range (300 -320 K) for the 3:1 weight ratio Ho – Y2O3 + Er – Y2O3 binary mixture. To the best of our knowledge, our study also represents a first report on the near -infrared luminescence (around 1200 nm) lifetime thermometry for a Ho doped nanoparticle. Comparison with the literature demonstrates that our system represents a promising near-infrared thermometer, with a non-sophisticated and reproducible configuration that is open to multiple optimization routes.

Spectrophotometric Methods for Simultaneous Determination of Rivaroxaban and Clopidogrel in Their Binary Mixture
摘要: Three rapid, accurate and very simple derivative spectrophotometric methods for RIV and CLP assay in their binary mixture and tablet dosage forms were developed. Method (I) is first derivative spectrophotometric method, derivative amplitudes were measured at the zero crossing wavelength of 289 and 249.5 nm for estimation of RIV and CLP, respectively. The linearity is over the range 2.0 - 20.0 μg/ml for RIV and 5.0 - 60.0 μg/ml for CLP with LOD of 0.211 and 0.361 μg mL-1 and LOQ of 0.641 and 1.095 μg mL-1 for RIV and CLP, respectively. Method (II) is ratio derivative spectrophotometric method. The ratio spectra of each drug were derived by dividing its spectra on a constant concentration of the other drug as a divisor. Derivative amplitudes were measured at 256 nm for RIV and at 214.5 nm for CLP over the same linearity range as the first method with LOD of 0.137 and 0.485 μg mL-1 and LOQ of 0.417 and 1.471 μg mL-1 for RIV and CLP, respectively. Method (III) is absorbance ratio method, absorbance of both drugs were recorded at two wavelengths λ1 (232) iso-absorptive point and λ2 (249) λmax of RIV. The final concentrations were obtained by applying the Q equations. The method was linear over the same concentration range as the first method with LOD of 0.272 and 0.485 μg mL-1 and LOQ of 0.826 and 1.471 μg mL-1 for RIV and CLP, respectively. The proposed methods were validated as per ICH guidelines. The proposed methods were successfully applied to both drugs analysis in their laboratory prepared co formulated tablet. Statistical comparison of the obtained results with those of the reference method show good agreement and confirm that there were no significant difference in the accuracy and precision between the proposed and reference one respectively.

An eye on molecular interaction studies of non-aqueous binary liquid mixtures with reference to dielectric, refractive properties and spectral characteristics
摘要: This review article presents an overview of the various molecular interactions (inter/intra) that exist between different non aqueous binary mixtures. The content of this article briefly summarizes the scope of scrutinizing and analysing the various intermolecular interactions through dielectric studies, refractive measurements and spectroscopic investigations. The feasible associations between solute-solvent and solvent-solvent molecules demonstrate the advent of this novel phenomenon, which is completely absent in pure state. With the aid of excess values, the deviations from ideal behaviour are articulated by different parameters (dielectric constant and refractive index). Different literatures are cited that focus the aforementioned features. The theme of this article is illustrated in the sketch given above.
