    摘要: The theoretical foundations of measurement uncertainty evaluation magnetic moment of radio electronic means using point methods are considered. A sequence and implementation of the uncertainty assessment procedure is proposed. A model equation based on the multipole description of the object’s magnetic field is obtained. An analysis of the equation is made. The uncertainty budget has been drawn up. Found standard and extended uncertainty. The results are in demand for control procedures and tests in the area of technical magnetism. The results contribute to the standardization of the quality assessment of magnetic measurements.

  • Effect of obliquely external magnetic field on the intense laser pulse propagating in plasma medium

    摘要: In this paper, self-focusing of intense laser pulse propagating along the obliquely external magnetic field on the collisional magnetoactive plasma by using the perturbation theory have been studied. The wave equation describing the interaction of intense laser pulse with collisional magnetoactive plasma is derived. In addition, employing source-dependent expansion (SDE) method, the analysis of the laser spot-size is discussed. It is shown that with increasing of the angle in obliquely external magnetic field, the spot-size of laser pulse decreases and as a result laser pulse becomes more focused. Furthermore, it is concluded that the self-focusing quality of the laser pulse has been enhanced due to the presence of obliquely external magnetic field in the collisional magnetoactive plasma. Besides, it is seen that with increasing of ν/?0, the laser spot-size reduces and subsequently the self-focusing of the laser pulse in plasma enhances. Moreover, it is found that changing the collision effect in the magnetoactive plasma leads to increases of self-focusing properties.

  • Laser ablation of Ni in the presence of external magnetic field: Selection of microsized particles

    摘要: The study presents results of nanosecond laser ablation of a Ni target in a liquid as a method of producing contamination-free micro- and nanosized colloidal structures. The ablation was performed in two liquids – double distilled water and ethanol, as their role on the characteristics of the ablated material is clarified. The laser ablation method in liquid was extended by applying an external magnetic field during the ablation process. A separation of micron and submicron particles from the nanoparticles in the colloidal solution is achieved by placing a substrate in the liquid, where the micron size structures are deposited under the action of the external magnetic field. At certain experimental conditions, the deposition of ordered one-dimensional microstructures on the substrate can be realized. The influence of different laser wavelengths on the features of the nanostructures dispersed in the liquid and microstructures deposited on the substrate was also investigated. On the basis of detailed analyses using Optical Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Selected area electron diffraction, and Transmission Electron Microscopy the morphology, composition, and size distribution of the fabricated structures were studied. The presented method allows the fabrication of contamination-free micro- and nanostructures with potential applications in biotechnology, catalysis, and magneto-optics devices.

  • POLARIZATION TRANSFORMATION BY A HYPERBOLIC METAMATERIAL ON A METAL SUBSTRATE

    摘要: In the present paper we focus on the study of polarization properties of biaxial metamaterial, which consist of alternate ferrite and semiconductor layers, located on an ideally conducted metal substrate. The system is placed into an external magnetic field along the boundaries of the layers. The effective medium theory is applied. Effective linear-to-elliptic polarization conversion has been shown, by means of physical and geometrical parameters of the system under consideration.
