摘要: Sunlight based Photovoltaic (PV) is a vital sustainable power hotspot for mankind. By utilizing Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) strategies, we can build the effectiveness of sun oriented photovoltaic framework. Numerous strategies have been proposed to build the energy of PV module in the diverse condition factors. In the present work Genetic algorithm based Fuzzy Logic MPPT has been utilized and reproduction comes about are contrasted with Perturb and Observe (P&O) MPPT utilizing MATLAB. A Solar Photovoltaic Generation System incorporated a sun powered module, a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC), a Boost converter (venture up converter) and a resistive load. 摘要: This study presents an optimal design of directional optical cloaking device based on evolutionary optimization approach. A cylindrical shaped perfectly electric conductor (PEC) material is selected as an object to be cloaked inside the proposed structure. Three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain method is combined with an optimization algorithm in order to numerically calculate and iteratively suppress the scattered fields due to the cylindrical shaped large ideal metallic scattering object. In particular, as optimization method Genetic Algorithm (GA) is employed. Here, optimization algorithm intelligently modulates the effective refractive index of the cloaking region by minimizing diffraction of the scattered field distribution in free space. The optimized cloaking structure composed of binary high refractive index (nPLA = 1.55) and low refractive index (nair = 1) elementary cells that are distributed in the optimization region. The structural and optical parameters of the proposed device are selected to be feasible in terms of fabrication by 3D printing technique and to make possible experimental verification at microwave frequencies in the future.

摘要: In order to transmit data efficiently over an optical network, many routing and wavelength assignment (RWA) algorithms have been proposed. This work presents a genetic algorithm that aims at solving the RWA problem, which consists of choosing the most suitable lightpath (i.e., a combination of a route and a wavelength channel) between a source-destination pair of nodes in all-optical networks. A comparison to some already known approaches in terms of blocking probability per load over four network topologies was made. Simulation results show a good performance, since the average blocking probability achieved by the proposed genetic algorithm was relatively equivalent to the values yielded by the standard approaches over two network topologies; and way lower on the other two networks.

摘要: In this paper, an efficient and effective tuning approach-based on Genetic Algorithm (GA) is presented to obtain the optimal Takagi-Sugeno type fuzzy controller parameters to control the liquid level of a tank. The results obtained clearly shows that one can improve the performance of fuzzy controller by optimizing the parameters. Simulation results show clearly that the optimized controller have better performance compared with un-optimised FLC or conventional PID controller. GA could tune up fuzzy controller parameters promptly with uppermost level of accuracy.

5D Parameter Estimation of Near-Field Sources Using Hybrid Evolutionary Computational Techniques
摘要: Hybrid evolutionary computational technique is developed to jointly estimate the amplitude, frequency, range, and 2D direction of arrival (elevation and azimuth angles) of near-field sources impinging on centrosymmetric cross array. Specifically, genetic algorithm is used as a global optimizer, whereas pattern search and interior point algorithms are employed as rapid local search optimizers. For this, a new multiobjective fitness function is constructed, which is the combination of mean square error and correlation between the normalized desired and estimated vectors. The performance of the proposed hybrid scheme is compared not only with the individual responses of genetic algorithm, interior point algorithm, and pattern search, but also with the existing traditional techniques. The proposed schemes produced fairly good results in terms of estimation accuracy, convergence rate, and robustness against noise. A large number of Monte-Carlo simulations are carried out to test out the validity and reliability of each scheme.

Improving the state selectivity of field ionization with quantum control
摘要: The electron signals from the ?eld ionization of two closely spaced Rydberg states of rubidium-85 are separated using quantum control. In selective ?eld ionization, the state distribution of a collection of Rydberg atoms is measured by ionizing the atoms with a ramped electric ?eld. Generally, atoms in higher energy states ionize at lower ?elds, so ionized electrons which are detected earlier in time can be correlated with higher energy Rydberg states. However, the resolution of this technique is limited by the Stark effect. As the electric ?eld is increased, the electron encounters numerous avoided Stark level crossings which split the amplitude among many states, thus broadening the time-resolved ionization signal. Previously, a genetic algorithm has been used to control the signal shape of a single Rydberg state. The present work extends this technique to separate the signals from the 34s and 33p states of rubidium-85, which are overlapped when using a simple ?eld ramp as in selective ?eld ionization.

Analysis of gabor filter based features with PCA and GA for the detection of drusen in fundus images
摘要: Human eye can be affected by different types of diseases. Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) is one of the such diseases, and it mainly occurs after 50 years of age. This disease is characterized by the occurrence of yellow spots called as Drusen. In this work, an automated method for the detection of drusen in Fundus image has been developed, and it has been tested on 70 images consisting of 30 normal images and 40 images with drusen. Performance of the Support Vector Machine (SVM) and K Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classifier has been evaluated using Data's reduction using Principle Component Analysis (PCA) and Data's selection using Genetic Algorithm (GA).Performance evaluation has been done in terms of accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, misclassification rate, positive predictive rate, negative predictive rate and Youden’s Index. The proposed method has achieved highest accuracy of 98.7% when data selection using Genetic Algorithm has been applied.

Enrutamiento y asignación de longitud de onda: Nueva heurística snake-one para redes WDM bajo tráfico dinámico
摘要: In this paper is shown the simulation results of a new heuristic, called snake-one. The simulation was performed in the National Science Foundation NETwork (NSFNET-USA) under dynamic traffic and compared with other heuristics such as Simulated Annealing, Genetic Algorithms and Tabu Search previously released, using the Blocking Probability indicator and Network Utilization. Comparing these heuristics, we can observe the improvement, of the blocking up to 130 Erlangs. Nevertheless, this results mean an increased and sustained use of the network. This behavior determines a partially good result, which determines the study of a modification of the Snake-one algorithm to improve both indicators.

Shaping the Wavefront of Incident Light with a Strong Robustness Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm
摘要: We demonstrate a modified particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm to effectively shape the incident light with strong robustness and short optimization time. The performance of the modified PSO algorithm and genetic algorithm (GA) is numerically simulated. Then, using a high speed digital micromirror device, we carry out light focusing experiments with the modified PSO algorithm and GA. The experimental results show that the modified PSO algorithm has greater robustness and faster convergence speed than GA. This modified PSO algorithm has great application prospects in optical focusing and imaging inside in vivo biological tissue, which possesses a complicated background.

摘要: The paper uses the PSO-SVR algorithm to inverse the water quality parameters based on GF-1 remote sensing image in Longquan lake where is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Longquan Lake is a key drinking water source in Chengdu, so its water quality is very critical. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) optimizes the parameters of the support vector regression (SVR) inversion model to establish the new PSO-SVR inversion model, and PSO can effectively improve the efficiency and the accuracy of the SVR inversion model. At the same, the empirical inversion model was established by using the measured hyperspectral data and concentration of water quality parameters. Comparing with SVR inversion model, PSO-SVR inversion model achieves a better result in the application of suspended solids and Chlorophyll concentration inversion.
