Hybrid secure and robust image watermarking scheme based on SVD and sharp frequency localized contourlet transform
摘要: In this paper, using singular value decomposition (SVD) and sharp frequency localized contourlet transform (SFLCT) a secure and robust image watermarking procedure is introduced. The SVD and SFLCT are applied on both watermark and original images and using the properties of the SVD and utilizing the advantages of the SFLCT, noticeable results of the watermarking requirements are obtained. Since most of the SVD based watermarking schemes are not resistant against ambiguity attacks and suffer from the false positive problem, this objection is resolved without adding extra steps to the watermarking algorithm and the suggested scheme is secure and resistant against ambiguity attacks. The simulation of the scheme is implemented and its robustness against various types of attacks is experimented. In comparison with some of the recent schemes this procedure shows high imperceptibility, capacity and robustness and these features make the scheme a suitable choice for the image processing applications.

Empirical system of image enhancement for digital microscopic pneumonia bacteria images
摘要: In this paper the image processing method is used to enhance the pneumonia bacteria images. This paper recognized the bacteria images based on two domains. The enhancement techniques used for bacteria image enhancement were median filter, wiener filter, single scale retinex and multiscale retinex. Image enhancement has a very important role in digital image processing. The median and wiener filters were used for grayscale image enhancement. Then single scale retinex and multiscale retinex were used for color image enhancement. Based on performance metrics identified median filter is suitable for bacteria images in grayscale image enhancement and multiscale retinex is suitable for bacteria color image enhancement (Tab. 2, Fig. 8, Ref. 21). QRCI: A new quantum representation model of color digital images
摘要: In this paper, a new quantum representation model of color digital images (QRCI) is investigated, in which the color information is encoded by the basis states of qubit sequences. QRCI model utilizes 2n+6 qubits to store a color digital image with size 2n×2n. Compared with the existing NCQI representation model, the storage capacity of QRCI improves 218 times. Moreover, some quantum color image processing operations concerning channels and bit-planes based on QRCI are discussed and their quantum circuits are designed. Comparison results of the quantum circuits indicate that these operations based on QRCI have lower quantum cost than NCQI. Therefore, the new proposed QRCI representation model can save more storage space and it is more convenient to conduct quantum color image processing operations concerning channels and bit-planes. This work will help the researchers to further investigate more complex quantum color image processing operations based on QRCI.

摘要: Effective algorithm for segmenting image is important for images analysis and computer vision. Fuzzy c-means (FCM) is the mostly used methodology in image clustering. However, the results of the standard and the modified version FCM are not always satisfactory. This paper introduces a modification on spatial FCM considering the weighted fuzzy effect of neighboring pixels on the center of the cluster. So, the objective function in FCM algorithm is modified to minimize the intensity inhomogeneities by implicating the spatial information and the modified membership weighting. The advantages of the new FCM algorithm are: (a) produces homogeneous regions, (b) handles noisy spots, and (c) relatively less sensitive to noise. Experimental results on real images show that the algorithm is effective, efficient, and is relatively independent of the type of noise. Especially, it can process non-noisy and noisy images without knowing the type of the noise.

摘要: Semantic segmentation using adversarial networks has been approved to produce the better artificial results in image processing fields. Focused on current Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNNs), since the convolutional kernel size has been fixed in every convolutional operation, the small objects would be ignored with large convolutional kernel size, and the segmentation result of large objects is not continuous with small convolutional kernel size. The paper developed a semantic segmentation model that combined the adversarial networks with multi-scale context aggregation. Further, the model was applied to road segmentation of UAV RS images. The experimental results of this semantic segmentation model with multi-scale context aggregation has a better performance for road segmentation and fit well with the reference standard results. It can improve the road segmentation accuracy obviously in the situation where there are other small regions whose shape or color is similar to road regions in UAV RS images.

The Optical Barcode Detection and Recognition Method Based on Visible Light Communication Using Machine Learning
摘要: Visible light communication (VLC) has developed rapidly in recent years. VLC has the advantages of high confidentiality, low cost, etc. It could be an effective way to connect online to offline (O2O). In this paper, an RGB-LED-ID detection and recognition method based on VLC using machine learning is proposed. Different from traditional encoding and decoding VLC, we develop a new VLC system with a form of modulation and recognition. We create different features for different LEDs to make it an Optical Barcode (OBC) based on a Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) senor and a pulse-width modulation (PWM) method. The features are extracted using image processing and then support vector machine (SVM) and artificial neural networks (ANN) are introduced into the scheme, which are employed as a classifier. The experimental results show that the proposed method can provide a huge number of unique LED-IDs with a high LED-ID recognition rate and its performance in dark and distant conditions is significantly better than traditional Quick Response (QR) codes. This is the first time the VLC is used in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and it is an innovative application of RGB-LED to create features. Furthermore, with the development of camera technology, the number of unique LED-IDs and the maximum identifiable distance would increase. Therefore, this scheme can be used as an effective complement to QR codes in the future.

摘要: A landing system is an essential part of an Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to perform autonomous aviation missions. Such a system requires a landing mechanism and a procedure that will allow a safe return to a selected landing position when the mission tasks are finished. In this paper the authors present a concept and first results of a developed system that is connected to a drone which allows automatic landing of a vehicle based on image processing of images captured in real-time by on-board cameras. The system consists of three different cameras: a visible light camera, an infrared camera and a thermal imaging camera. Preliminary results and comparison of developed image processing algorithms for different cameras and two different landing markers are also presented here.

摘要: Glaucoma, one of the major causes of blindness, has been identified as a disease that causes the degeneration of the optic disc. An highly accurate automated detection of the optic disc (OD) has however been noted to be of great importance for the efficient diagnosis of the disease. This paper presents a study on an unsupervised approach usage of Haralick Correlation texture feature for the segmentation of optic disc in colored fundus retinal images. The grayscale and green channel of the colored fundus image are investigated. When compared with some methods in the literature, the experimental study of the proposed method achieved very high average accuracy rates of 98.59% and 98.36% using grayscale and green channel of the colored fundus image respectively on DRIVE database.

摘要: Gastric tumors are still late diagnosed and represent min. 17% of cases leading to metastasis. The ability to visualize the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract in detail is a requisite for early detection of dysplasia and cancer. Although techniques such as chromoendoscopy, high resolution and magnification endoscopy, narrow band imaging, auto-fluorescence imaging improve the visualization and detection of mucosal lesions, biopsy of the targeted lesion must still be performed for a formal histological diagnosis of cellular and architectural atypical.

摘要: This paper proposes a method to robustly estimate product amount on store shelves from a surveillance camera for improving on-shelf availability. We focus on changes of products on the shelves such as “product taken (decrease)” and “product replenished/returned (increase)”, and compute product amount by accurately accumulating them. The proposed method first detects change regions of products on the shelves in an image using background subtraction followed by moving object removal. The detected change regions are then classified into several classes representing the actual changes on the shelves such as “product taken” by using convolutional neural networks. Finally, the changes of products on the shelves are accumulated using classification results, and product amount on the shelves visible in the image is computed as on-shelf availability. Experimental results using two videos captured in a real store show that our method achieves success rate of 89.6% for on-shelf availability when an error margin is within one product. With high accuracy, store clerks can keep high on-shelf availability, enabling the improvement of business profit in retail stores.
