A Novel Multilayer Sandwich Fabric-based Composite Material for Infrared Stealth and Super Thermal Insulation Protection
摘要: At present, infrared stealth materials for advanced detection and stealth technology is usually prepared with low emissivity coating on the surface, but there are very few efficient infrared stealth materials based on textiles with lightweight and flexible features. In this paper, we designed a carbon nanotube-doped aerogel (CNTAs) sandwich structure on polyimide (PI) fabric by hot pressing and then coated with a low emissivity Al-doped ZnO (ZAO) on the outer surface. The surface emissivity lower than 0.5 due to the existence of ZAO and the thermal conductivity of the intermediate interlayer aerogels as low as 0.013 W/(m?K). Additionally, through experiments, theoretical derivation and simulation analysis, we found the resultant composite demonstrated a high infrared stealth performance with super insulation effect, implying it will have a fine prospect in infrared stealth and thermal insulation protection fields with its unique structure and excellent properties.

Investigative study of the thermal performance of a trial solar air heater
摘要: Solar collectors need to be inclined at the optimum angle to maximize the receiving energy. The evaluation of the thermal performance of solar air collectors is important for the proper design and sizing of the collector for a given application. In our experimental/theoretical study, which consists of a thermal performance investigation, we have sought to optimize the efficiency–temperature rise couple of the designed solar air heater by considering the appropriate assembling materials regarding the absorber, the glazing and the insulation. Obviously, efficiency is dependent on the orientation of solar collectors and the measured parameters climate conditions such as wind speed, solar radiation and ambient temperature. In order to achieve possible performance optimization of the receiver plane using a low number of variables and equations, the calculations were carried out considering four values of azimuth angle, γ = 0°, 22.5°, 45° and 67.5°, and by varying the tilt angle β by 5 degrees from 15° to 70°.

Examination of dielectric strength of thin Parylene C films under various conditions
摘要: The breakdown voltage of the biocompatible polymer Parylene C was determined after storage in 60°C saline solution and treatment by autoclave. It occurred that both, storage at 60°C in saline solution and autoclaving, lead to distinct decrease of dielectric strength by approximately 50%.

摘要: A new pyroelectric infrared detector structure has been fabricated by integrating LiTaO3 single crystal with air gap thermal insulation structure using MEMS technology. The device shows excellent pyroelectric properties and thermal performance. Results demonstrate that the pyroelectric performance of detectors with air gap thermal insulation structure can be improved by the area of air gap. It was demonstrated that if the area of air gap got increased, the thermal time constant of LiTaO3 bulk would be more well-distributed and the pyroelectric performance of detector would be improved.

摘要: This study aims on the detection of PD inception voltage and tree growth in silicone rubber under DC conditions, using a fluorescent silicone fiber sensor in combination with an optical converter and the PD measuring system as well as a camera. A typical PD source was used and embedded in model samples made of transparent silicone rubber. By means of time synchronous optical and electrical measurements at positive and negative DC voltages, the results contribute to a better understanding of the degradation of silicone rubber in DC cable accessories.

摘要: Due to the ongoing digitalization, the demand for additional data is getting more into focus of users and industry. An approach for granting more data and enabling access to additional settings and parameters is since many decades the use of displays. Especially in medical industry, screens became an essential part of the daily work of doctors and medical staff. From patient monitors to blood sugar test devices, displays are present in all shapes and functions. However, these screens are still limited to be used in devices which can’t be sterilized. This is caused by the very harsh conditions of steam sterilizations, the most common type in Europe. Hereby, temperatures up to 135 degree Celsius and 3 bar pressure occur. This work is about the investigation of possible ways to insulate the displays to prevent them from permanent damages due to steam sterilizations and have a look on the possibility of cooling down the modules. For insulation an aerogel based insulation was tested with different LCD, LED and OLED displays. The aim of this research is enabling the use of displays in medical devices which need to be controlled manually and do not give back precise feedback. Therefore, the use of displays could increase safety for patients and usability for doctors significantly.

The effects of cathode electrodeposited polymer film on the long vacuum gap breakdown
摘要: Vacuum surface discharge is one of the most important issues for vacuum insulation. In this paper, a method for breakdown ?eld strength enhancement of long vacuum gap is put forward, through depositing polymer dielectric coating on the electrode surface. The physical mechanism that the polymer ?lm changes the electrode surface state is analyzed. After a layer of polymer ?lm is deposited on the electrode surface, the decreased surface ?eld strength and improved micro-surface state both help to suppress the ?eld electron emission from the cathode. The technique of cathode electrodeposition for high polymers such as epoxy resin (ER), epoxy acrylate (EA), polyimide (PI) and poly(ether-ether-ketone) (PEEK) was explored, and the thickness of the electrodeposited coating can reach 20–50 mm. The effects of the electrodeposited polymer coatings of electrodes on the 2.5 cm vacuum gap breakdown were studied under a high-voltage vacuum experiment platform. Experimental results showed that when ER, EA and PEEK coatings with thickness of 25–45 mm were respectively electrodeposited on the 95 cm2 plate cathode, the initial-breakdown ?eld strengths of the 2.5 cm vacuum gap were enhanced by 20.7%–22.4%. The enhancement of the initial-breakdown ?eld strength was restricted by the coating defects, grain boundary defects on the cathode surface, and the micro-triple-point emission after the fusing of some local coating points due to the electron bombardments.

Fabrication and characterization of a low-cost interposer with an intact insulation layer and ultra-low TSV leakage current
摘要: The application of a Si interposer is hindered by its complicated manufacturing process, high cost and some reliability challenges such as through silicon via (TSV) leakage. In this paper, a fabrication approach using a Si interposer is proposed, which can simplify the manufacturing process significantly and reduce the cost by more than 40%. Benefiting from the simplified process, the TSV insulation layer stays intact during the whole manufacturing process, an ultra-low TSV leakage current can be obtained. To evaluate the performance and reliability of the interposer, test samples consisting of 136 TSVs are designed and fabricated. A series of tests are carried out to verify the electrical insulating performance and reliability of the interposer. Under the bias voltage of 5 V, the TSV leakage current is 2.05 × 10?14 A, which is much lower than the usual value in the range of 10?12 –10?9 A. The yield of daisy chains exceeds 91.66% and that of individual TSVs is more than 99.91%. All the interposer samples have successfully passed the thermal cycle test, and the resistance variation of each individual pathway is within 5% after 200 cycles.

Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics, Siberian Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, since its first days are considered. Some of the most interesting fundamental and applied results are presented. A fairly extensive list of related works, published mainly in the past twenty years, is given.

Construction of ultraviolet protection, thermal insulation, superhydrophobic and aromatic textile with Al-doped ZnO–embedded lemon microcapsule coatings
摘要: Multifunctional textiles combining ultraviolet protection, thermal insulation, superhydrophobic and aromatic performance were successfully prepared using an aluminum-doped zinc oxide (AZO)-embedded lemon microcapsule and SiO2 dual-layer coating. AZO-loaded lemon microcapsules with average diameter of 1.5 mm were obtained via interfacial polymerization. Results showed that the high concentration of the AZO-embedded lemon microcapsule contributed to enhancing the waterproof property, aromatic performance, and visible and near-infrared light transmittance. The lemon content was up to 2.789 mg/g (weight of essence:weight of fabric). The water contact angle was high at 153.35°, exhibiting an outstanding superhydrophobic performance. The light transmittance decreased as the amount of AZO-embedded lemon microcapsule increased. The ultraviolet protection factor value reached 88.78 when the dosage of the AZO-embedded lemon microcapsule was 6%. Given the above research results, the cotton fabric coated with the AZO-embedded lemon microcapsule and SiO2 dual-layer composite coating would have potential applications in the water/oil purification field and functional protective fabrics.
