摘要: In this paper, a compact, mechanically rugged, DC grounded Null-?lled horizontally polarized antenna having low gain ripple in the omnidirectional pattern is proposed for UAV Ground Command Station. The antenna is based on the coaxial cylinder structures, which consists of oversize coaxial cylinders, slots and their feeding assembly and a matching unit. The horizontal polarization property is realized by four vertical slots surrounding the axis of the coaxial cylinder in the outer conductor. The antenna is dc ground which eliminates the electrostatic discharge ESD problems. Simulation results show that the antenna bandwidth is 8.1% (2.56 GHz to 2.78 GHz respectively, gain variation in the horizontal plane is less than ±1 dB while the cross-polarization level is below 15 dB over the whole bandwidths.

摘要: A novel omnidirectional filtering antenna with great filtering characteristics is presented. Firstly, a wideband bandpass filter (BPF) with Butterworth functional response based on coupled-line structure is designed and numerically analyzed. Then, a disc type omnidirectional antenna is proposed. When they are integrated together by using co-design approach, the signals from BPF couple to the antenna, thus, the omnidirectional filtering antenna is realized. The proposed antenna can provide a good frequency selectivity and high stopband suppression performance.

摘要: A low profile omnidirectional circular polarized reconfigurable antenna for Beidou application is proposed in this paper. This antenna is based on the first-order resonance mode of epsilon negative transmission line. To form a circularly polarized wave in the far field, the vertical and horizontal polarization is generated by a parallel circular cavity and three dual arc arms, respectively. Only 6 PIN diodes are needed to alter the left-handed circularly polarized (LHCP) or right- handed circularly polarized (RHCP) omnidirectional radiation state. Three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation software Ansoft HFSS and RF circuit simulation software Agilent ADS are used for co-simulation and optimization. It is shown that the proposed antenna can meet the Beidou navigation BDS-1 S band requirement well whether at the left or right circularly polarized state. The omnidirectional average axial ratio at two states are 1.24 dB and 1.25 dB with 16.7 % and 19.8 % 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth, respectively. The thickness of antenna is only 2 mm (0.016 (cid:540)0) and simply processed without a dual feeding structure and 90 phase shifter.

摘要: A (CP) omnidirectional antenna fed by a capacitive probe is presented in this paper. To attain wideband vertical polarization, a circular monopole patch connecting to the ground by a set of shorting pins is applied. Two groups of curved branches are introduced to create wideband horizontal polarization. The CP radiation can be generated with a proper phase difference between the vertical polarization and the horizontal polarization. The antenna is fabricated and measured. It exhibits an impedance bandwidth (VSWR≤2) of 34.6% (ranges from 4.50 to 6.38 GHz) and an axial ratio bandwidth (AR≤3dB) of 33.5% (ranges from 4.60 to 6.45 GHz). The profile of the antenna is merely 0.06λL (λL is the wavelength corresponding to the lowest operating frequency).

摘要: A compact omnidirectional circular polarization (CP) antenna is presented. The antenna consists a top-loaded cylindrical monopole and a modified circular ground plane with extended curved branches. Vertical and horizontal polarized field components are generated through the monopole and extended curved branch of ground, respectively. With a size of 0.241..0*0.241..0*0.121..0, the antenna exhibits a lO-dB impedance bandwidth of 3.9% from 1.54 to 1.61 GHz and a 3-dB axial-ratio (AR) bandwidth of 7.5% from 1.52 to 1.62GHz in the horizontal plane. The measured average axial ratio and left-hand CP (LHCP) gain at 1.561 GHz are 2 dB and 1.4 dBi, respectively, in the horizontal plane.

A wideband omnidirectional filtering patch antenna with high selectivity
摘要: A wideband omnidirectional filtering patch antenna with high selectivity is proposed in this article. The annular ring is surrounded by the hexagonal patch with inner circle, whereas a series of shorting vias are regularly distributed among them and a copper top hat is suspended right on the top of the radiator, respectively. And, omnidirectional pattern is mainly performed on account of the symmetry and center-fed structure. In addition, broadband performance is achieved by merging three resonant modes, which include the TM01 and TM02 modes of the annular ring and the TM02 mode of the hexagonal patch with inner circle. Taking advantages of the hexagonal patch and six shorting vias in it, two radiation nulls are provided in the upper band. Besides, another radiation null is generated in the lower band by reason of the top hat and other shorting vias. As a result, an ideal quasi-elliptic bandpass response, high selectivity, and good out-of-band rejection are obtained simultaneously. The proposed filtering patch antenna, with a profile of 0.056 λ0, shows a wide impedance bandwidth of 30.2% from 2.05 to 2.78 GHz. The average gain in the passband is about 6.5 dBi, and the out-of-band suppression level is greater than 15 dB in the wide stopband.
