UTILIZA??O DE ALVOS CODIFICADOS DO TIPO ARUCO NA AUTOMA??O DO PROCESSO DE CALIBRA??O DE C?MARAS
摘要: This paper presents a proposal for the automation of the camera calibration process, locating and measuring image points in coded targets with sub-pixel precision. This automatic technique helps minimize localization errors, regardless of camera orientation and image scale. To develop this technique, several types of coded targets were analyzed and the ARUCO type was chosen due to its simplicity, ability to represent up to 1024 different targets and availability of source code implemented with the OpenCV library. ARUCO targets were generated and two calibration sheets were assembled to be used for the acquisition of images for camera calibration. The developed software can locate targets in the acquired images and it automatically extracts the coordinates of the four corners with sub-pixel accuracy. Experiments were conducted with real data showing that the targets are correctly identified unless excessive noise or fragmentation occurs mainly in the outer target square. The results with the calibration of a low cost camera showed that the process works and that the measurement accuracy of the corners achieves sub-pixel precision.

摘要: A detailed analysis and description of the algorithm of the spatial method of image enhancement is carried out on the basis of alignment of their brightness histograms. There is an increasing use of photo and video equipment, as well as image processing methods in various branches of human activity. Also, all stages of processing images that are necessary for extracting useful information from them are discussed in detail, while the stage of image enhancement is of particular importance, since the quality of all subsequent stages, such as segmentation and analysis, depends on it. It is noted that such a simple and effective method of image enhancement, which is based on the alignment of brightness histogram, from the point of view of its practical application, is rather poorly described in the specialized literature. To eliminate this gap, the theory on which this method is based was described in detail, and an algorithm implementing it was proposed and described. To verify the correctness of the proposed algorithm, it was implemented in Python 2.7 and tested on various images. The experiment showed that this algorithm improves the image as well as its implementation in the OpenCV computer vision library and the MATLAB package.

摘要: Computer vision can be used as an integral part of any autonomous systems. Visual input and processing enables faster and early decisions. An important challenge in computer vision is detection and recognition of objects. This challenge is more pronounced in low illumination. In this paper, we are proposing a detection and recognition model for road warning signs with voice noti?cation system for both autonomous and usual vehicles considering varied level of illumination. Real-time video from the vehicles was analysed using opencv. The noise from the video was removed using ?lters. Detection was based on Haar-cascades and training was done with sample positive and negative images. Text recognition was based on pattern matching. Voice noti?cation was done using string to voice converters. The night vision was lightened considering the glare of vehicles headlight.

摘要: An alternate method of communication for Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients using real-time video oculography is introduced in this paper. Proposed method is user-friendly and assist the patients to communicate their basic requirements. The algorithm can be used to address large number of outputs through various input eye wink combinations. The system is built using openCV and dlib. Eye wink is detected by computing Eye Aspect Ratio(EAR) using face landmarks obtained from dlib. Pattern in eye winks is considered to provide corresponding audio and visual outputs. This method can easily differentiate between voluntary and involuntary blinks with better accuracy.

摘要: Solar collector technologies operate with better performance when the Sun beam direction is normal to the capturing surface, and for that to happen despite the relative movement of the Sun, solar tracking systems are used. Therefore, there are rules and standards that need minimum accuracy for these tracking systems to be used in solar collectors’ evaluation. Obtaining accuracy is one of the key tasks in such a system. This paper presents the software method of a solar tracker system that uses a webcam as the sensing device combined with image processing technique that is developed in the computer to locate the location of the Sun’s position.
