摘要: Silver Nanoparticles (AgNPs) has been successfully synthetized in this study using photoinduced reduction method with monochromatic light. In this method we use sodium citrate as capping agent without additional reducing agent. Silver nanoparticles characterized using Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). The synthetized AgNPs show that wavelength of light can affect the properties of AgNPs based on absorption spectra of UV-Vis. XRD measurement showed the characteristic peak of silver at 2θ of 38.060, 44.140, 64.470, and 77.400.

One dimensional hierarchical BiOCl microrods: their synthesis and their photocatalytic performance
摘要: In this work, one dimensional hierarchical BiOCl microrods were controllably synthesized via a hydrothermal method using sodium citrate as the structure-directing agent. Each hierarchical BiOCl structure is made up of many BiOCl nanosheets in which the size and thickness are controlled by the concentration of sodium citrate. The high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) measurements show that each nanosheet consists of the BiOCl hierarchical structure with exposed (001) (top surface) and (110) (side surface) facets. With the amount of sodium citrate increasing, the ratio (110)/(001) gradually increases. These hierarchical BiOCl architectures exhibit a more outstanding photocatalytic activity than BiOCl nanosheets with exposed (001) facets, and rhodamine B (RhB) and methyl orange (MO) can be degraded in 3 and 4 min, respectively. This enhanced photocatalytic performance is ascribed to the fast separation and transfer of photogenerated electron–hole pairs, the formation of hierarchical architectures and the large BET surface areas. Radical scavenger experiments indicate that holes (h+) and superoxide radicals (˙O2?) are the main active species for MO degradation during the photocatalytic process.

Evaluation of photocatalytic thin film pretreatment on anaerobic degradability of exopolymer extracted biosolids for biofuel generation
摘要: This study reports the result of sodium citrate induced exopolymer extraction on the photocatalytic thin film (TiO2) pretreatment efficiency of waste activated sludge (WAS). TiO2 is immobilized through DC spluttering method followed by annealing process. The exopolymer removal of 94.2 % by sodium citrate (0.05 g/g SS) promotes better disintegration. This TiO2 thin film efficiently extricate the intracellular components of exopolymer extracted sludge at 50 minutes increasing the solubilization to 19.33 %. As a result, the exopolymer extracted sludge shows high methane generation (0.24 gCOD/gCOD) than the other (pretreated sludge without exopolymer removal – 0.12 gCOD/gCOD and raw sludge without treatment – 0.075 gCOD/gCOD). The methane generated in sodium citrate induced TiO2 thin film pretreated sludge is 398.99 kWh. In cost analysis, it gives net cost of -57.46 USD/ ton of sludge. In addition, the proposed method also accounts 51.3 % of solid reduction.

Improvement of photocatalyst properties of magnetic NPs by new anionic surfactant
摘要: In this research, Fe3O4 NPs was synthesized by co- precipitation approach. Then SiO2 shell was grown on the Fe3O4 core. Synthesized NPs were characterized by means of XRD, FTIR, VSM, TGA, SEM and TEM. The magnetic properties of core and core-shell NPs was 74 and 42 emu/g, respectively. The TEM picture of core-shell was showed thickness shell of SiO2 on the Fe3O4 NPs. The size of this shell about 2.5nmWhich caused the core magnetic property to be well preserved. Photocatalyst activity of the synthesized NPs was investigated by using methyl orange (MO) and methylene blue (MB) as pollutant at different pH. For first time sodium citrate was used to improvement photo- degradation. The Fe3O4 indicated good photocatalyst activity for photo-degradation and it’s activity was considerably increased after SiO2 shell growth.
