Benzodithiophene Hole‐Transporting Materials for Efficient Tin‐Based Perovskite Solar Cells
摘要: Developing efficient interfacial hole transporting materials (HTMs) is crucial for achieving high-performance Pb-free Sn-based halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, a new series of benzodithiophene (BDT)-based organic small molecules containing tetra- and di-triphenyl amine donors prepared via a straightforward and scalable synthetic route is reported. The thermal, optical, and electrochemical properties of two BDT-based molecules are shown to be structurally and energetically suitable to serve as HTMs for Sn-based PSCs. It is reported here that ethylenediammonium/formamidinium tin iodide solar cells using BDT-based HTMs deliver a champion power conversion efficiency up to 7.59%, outperforming analogous reference solar cells using traditional and expensive HTMs. Thus, these BDT-based molecules are promising candidates as HTMs for the fabrication of high-performance Sn-based PSCs.

Oriented Two-Dimensional Covalent Organic Framework Films for Near-Infrared Electrochromic Application
摘要: The electrochromic property and device construction of a triphenylamine-based oriented two-dimensional covalent organic framework (2D COF) films on the indium tin oxide (ITO) was reported. The characterization of the 2D COF3PA-TT film revealed that the film was uniform, with good crystallinity, and oriented with its 2D plane parallel to the substrate. For the first time, the electrochromic properties of 2D COF3PA-TT film were studied. 2D COF3PA-TT film on ITO exhibited reversible color transition between deep red and dark brown during redox process. Spectroelectrochemical experiments revealed color changes in the absorption spectra of 2D COF3PA-TT film in the visible and near-infrared regions and showed the characteristics of intervalence charge transfer. The quasi-solid-state electrochromic device was prepared based on the COF3PA-TT film and it exhibited moderate performance and stability in the near-infrared region.

Synthesis, photophysical, viscosity and DFT study of solid state fluorescent molecular rotors
摘要: Four novel Fluorescent Molecular Rotors (FMR) (1, 2, 3, 4) comprising carbazole, triphenylamine, phenothiazine, diethylaniline as donating groups and cyanoformyl vinylene as an accepting group are synthesized and characterized by NMR. They show emission in the solid state in the range of 581–651 nm. The viscosity sensitivity of emission was investigated 3.1–3.4 fold increase in emission intensity was observed in a mixture of polar protic ethanol and polyethyleneglycol 400 mixture. The experimental results are well in correlation with those of Density Functional Theory (DFT) computations. Compounds show higher values of dipole moment, linear polarizability values ranging from 49 to 59 × 10^?24 e.s.u., first order hyperpolarizability ranging from 77 to 250 × 10^-30 e.s.u. and second order hyperpolarizability ranging between 105–695 × 10^-30 e.s.u. suggest that the compounds show good Nonlinear Optical (NLO) property. The two photon absorption cross sections are found in the range 50–150 GM, which is further elucidated using Mulliken Hush analysis for analyzing effective charge transfer in the present compounds.

High-contrast mechanofluorochromism and acidochromism of D-π-A type quinoline derivatives
摘要: New D-π-A type quinoline derivatives (CbzVQ and TPAVQ) were synthesized via Knoevenagel condensation reactions. They exhibited reversible high-contrast mechanofluorochromic (MFC) behavior under grinding/fuming treatment. Taking CbzVQ as an example, its fluorescence could be switched from blue to greyish green by grinding the as-synthesized sample into ground powders, and the fluorescence emission was red-shifted from 449 nm (with shoulders at 475 nm and 520 nm) to 578 nm (with shoulders at ca. 450 nm and 500 nm). Such large shift of the maximal emission peak during MFC processes was rare reported. In addition, the casting films of CbzVQ and TPAVQ emitted blue and green light, respectively, which was turned to red rapidly induced by TFA (trifluoroacetic acid) vapor. Moreover, the emission could be recovered stimulated by TEA (triethylamine) vapor, so the quinoline derivatives exhibited reversible fluorescent sensory properties. TPAVQ showed better performance in the detection of TFA vapor than CbzVQ due to the strong electron-donating ability of triphenylamine compared with carbazole. The detection limit and the decay time of TPAVQ towards TFA vapor were 163 ppb and 0.22 s, respectively. Apparently, the D-π-A type quinoline derivatives are candidates as multi-stimuli responsive fluorescent materials.
