An anti-symmetric dual (ASD) Z-scheme photocatalytic system: (ZnIn2S4/Er3+:Y3Al5O12@ZnTiO3/CaIn2S4) for organic pollutants degradation with simultaneous hydrogen evolution
摘要: An anti-symmetric dual (ASD) Z-scheme ZnIn2S4/Er3+:Y3Al5O12@ZnTiO3/CaIn2S4 photocatalyst was prepared by isoelectric point and calcination methods. The photocatalytic activity is estimated via degradation of Acid Orange II as a target organic contaminant with simultaneous hydrogen evolution under simulated solar-light irradiation. The prepared ASD Z-scheme ZnIn2S4/Er3+:Y3Al5O12@ZnTiO3/CaIn2S4 photocatalyst has a high photocatalytic activity, which can be assigned to the enlarged photoresponse range, increased reduction surface and enhanced separation efficiency of photo-induced carriers. Furthermore, the cyclic experiment proves that the prepared ASD Z-scheme ZnIn2S4/Er3+:Y3Al5O12@ZnTiO3/CaIn2S4 photocatalyst still maintains a high photocatalytic activity within five repetitive cycles. Moreover, the mechanism on photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants with simultaneous hydrogen evolution caused by ASD Z-scheme ZnIn2S4/Er3+:Y3Al5O12@ZnTiO3/CaIn2S4 photocatalyst is proposed. It is wished that this study could provide a promising pathway for effective degradation and rapid hydrogen production.

Effects of Mg2+/Si4+ doping on luminescence of Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ phosphors
摘要: A series of Mg2+/Si4+ codoped Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ phosphors were synthesized by a sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction, scanning election microscope, energy dispersive spectroscopy and fluorescent spectrophotometer were used to characterize the synthesized phosphors. The influence of codoped Mg2+/Si4+ ions on luminescence of Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ was investigated. The X-ray diffraction, scanning election microscope and energy dispersive spectroscopy results indicate that Ce3+, Mg2+ and Si4+ substitute Y3+ site, in the tetrahedral site and the substitution has no obvious influence on the phase and microstructure. And the Mg2+/Si4+ substitution leads to the red shift of emission band and the decrease of emission intensity.

Improved thermal stability of Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ phosphor by SiO2 coating
摘要: In this paper, a heterogeneous precipitation method was adopted to coat a SiO2 layer on the surface of Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ phosphor. The surface morphologies, crystal phases, defect concentrations, luminescent properties and thermal stability of coated phosphors were investigated and compared with those of uncoated phosphor. A compact and homogeneous SiO2 layer on the surface of phosphor was determined by SEM-EDS, TEM, XRD and FT-IR results. Two thermoluminescent peaks were found at 112 oC and 248 oC on the thermoluminescence spectrum. Their intensities decreased slowly with the increasing coating amounts. It indicated that their corresponding defect concentrations were gradually reduced. Improved thermal stability was obtained by SiO2 coating in spite of a slight weakening of the emission intensity. The optimum theoretical coating amount was identified as 4%. Moreover, a structural modification mechanism on improved thermal stability of SiO2 coated Y3Al5O12:Ce3+ was proposed.

The effect of Yb3+ ion substitution on dielectric and microstructural properties of Y3Al5O12 ceramics
摘要: The electrical and dielectric properties of Y3Al5O12 (yttrium aluminum garnet, YAG) ceramics are investigated in detail. YAG:(Yb)x (0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.09) was synthesized by a solid state reaction and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. The electrical and dielectric properties have been intensively studied under certain bias voltages up to a frequency of 10 MHz. These properties are dependent on the substitution rates, independent of the bias voltages. The experimental result shows that Yb3+ ion substitution into YAG ceramics significantly influences the conductivity, dielectric constant, and lossy mechanisms, which is probably owing to the 3d-Al ions and 4f-Yb ions incorporated at different positions of structural symmetries in Y3?xYbxAl5O12 (0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.09) ceramics.

Structure and properties of Mn3O4 thin films grown on single crystal substrates by chemical vapor deposition
摘要: Mn3O4 thin films were fabricated on SrTiO3(111) and Y3Al5O12(100) substrates by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) under O2 atmospheres, starting from a fluorinated Mn(II) diketonate-diamine adduct. The obtained systems were investigated by a multi-technique characterization in order to elucidate the interplay between preparation conditions and their chemico-physical properties. The results highlighted the formation of phase-pure and homogeneous a -Mn3O4 (haussmannite) films, characterized by a smooth morphology, an appreciable Vis light absorption and structural features directly dependent on the used substrate. The target systems were uniformly doped with fluorine, due to the used Mn compound acting as a single-source precursor for both Mn and F. In addition, magnetic force microscopy measurements revealed the formation of spin domains and long-range magnetic order in the target materials, paving the way to their future implementation as magnetic media toward device integration for data storage.
