    摘要: In order to accurately measure the ice coating thickness on the ice-covered wire, the conventional ice-covering measurement method has complex operations and insufficient accuracy. This paper based on the infrared image of ice covered wire obtained by UAV and uses the image processing method to perform edge detection on the infrared image of the ice coating wire. The results show that Ratio operator detection results are superior to Canny operator and Steger operator. Then, the Hough change is performed on the image detected by the Ratio operator edge, and the exact position of the wire in the infrared image is extracted to prepare for the next calculation of the ice thickness. Finally, on the basis of the extracted infrared image, the calculation of the ice thickness on the ice-covered wire is converted into the solution of the image pixels. Then the image data is used to calculate the inclination of the overhead transmission line in the image, and the thickness of the ice coating is corrected. Finally,the results obtained by experiment show that the error between the calculation results of the ice coating thickness obtained by the pixel solution method and the thickness of the ice coating obtained by the numerical calculation is very small. Therefore, this method can accurately calculate the ice-covering thickness of the ice-covered wire and has a good application prospect in the wire ice covered field.

    摘要: Small infrared target detection is a key and challenging issue in object detection and tracking systems. Existing algorithms can be mainly categorized into nonlocal-based or local-based methods. However, the detection performance degrades rapidly when facing highly heterogeneous backgrounds. This is mainly due to that they exploit only one kind of information (e.g., local or nonlocal) while sacrificing the other. Thus, an effective small target detection method is proposed to combine local and nonlocal priors. The former is obtained by a sliding dual window while the latter is realized by low-rank and sparse decomposition. Experimental results on three real datasets validate the effectiveness of the proposed framework, which is more stable and robust compared with several state-of-the-art methods, especially for the image scenes with heavy background clutters.

  • PHOTONIC ANALYSIS OF SEMICONDUCTOR FIBONACCI SUPERLATTICES: PROPERTIES AND APPLICATIONS

    摘要: In this paper, we theoretically study the phase treatment of re?ected waves in one-dimensional Fibonacci photonic quasicrystals composed of nano-scale fullerene and semiconductor layers. The dependence of the phase shift of re?ected waves for TE mode and TM mode on the wavelength and incident angle is calculated by using the theoretical model based on the transfer matrix method in the infrared wavelength region. In the band gaps of supposed structures, it is found that the phase shift of re?ected wave changes more slowly than within the transmission band gaps. Furthermore, the phase shift decreases with the incident angle increasing for TE mode, and increases with the incident angle increasing for TM mode. Also, for the supposed structures it is found that there is a band gap which is insensitive to the order of the Fibonacci sequence. These structures open a promising way to fabricate subwavelength tunable phase compensators, very compact wave plates and phase-sensitive interferometry for TE and TM waves.

  • ESTIMATION OF SPECIFIC ABSORPTION RATE USING INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY FOR THE BIOCOMPATIBILITY OF WEARABLE WIRELESS DEVICES

    摘要: Wearable wireless technology has developed as an exciting topic over the last couple of years. With the extensive use of Wearable Wireless Devices (WWD) in greater proximity to the body for various wireless applications, the concern about biological effects due to the interaction of human tissues with the radiations is growing. In this research, we investigate the application of Infrared Thermography (IRT) to obtain temperature dynamics and reconstruct Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) to evaluate the exposure amenability of WWDs. A microstrip monopole antenna on a wearable substrate is used to determine the biological effects of the interaction of electromagnetic (EM) waves on the body. SAR is obtained using EM field simulations and by reconstruction from thermal measurements with the use of bio-heat equations for a continuous exposure of 300 s. Validation of IRT to reconstruct SAR is demonstrated by comparison with EM computations. The maximum SAR was 32 mW/kg, for simulations and 35 mW/kg, from reconstruction after IRT experiments. The maximum temperature change in both cases was always less than 1?C. The difference between the SAR obtained through IRT and simulation tools accounted for an average of 8.7%. Information acquired using IR temperature dynamics can yield SAR values which can assess radio frequency exposure compliance for WWD at frequencies used for modern wireless technologies, with reliability.

  • InAs/InAsSb Type-II Superlattice Mid-Wavelength Infrared Focal Plane Array With Significantly Higher Operating Temperature Than InSb

    摘要: We report focal plane array (FPA) results on a mid-wavelength InAs/InAsSb type-II strained layer superlattice (T2SLS) unipolar barrier infrared detector with a cutoff wavelength of 5.4 μm. For 300 K background in the 3–5-μm band, f/2 aperture, an FPA operating at 150 K exhibits a mean noise equivalent differential temperature (NEDT) of 18.5 mK, and an NEDT operability of 99.7%. The NE(cid:2)T distribution has a width of 8 mK, with no noticeable distribution tail, indicating excellent uniformity. The mean noise-equivalent irradiance is 9.1 × 1011 photons/sec-cm2. The mean quantum ef?ciency is 49.1% without antire?ection coating, and the mean speci?c detectivity (D?) is 2.53 × 1011 cm-Hz?/W. Bene?tting from an absorber material with a much longer Shockley–Read–Hall minority carrier lifetime, and a device architecture that suppresses generation-recombination and surface-leakage dark current, the InAs/InAsSb T2SLS barrier infrared detector FPA has demonstrated a signi?cantly higher operating temperature than the mid-wavelength infrared market-leading InSb.

  • On-Line Analysis of Oil-Dissolved Gas in Power Transformers Using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometry

    摘要: To address the problem of on-line dissolved gas analysis (DGA) of a power transformer, a Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectrometer was used to develop an analysis instrument. Carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), ethane (C2H6), ethylene (C2H4) and acetylene (C2H2) were the analytes for the FT-IR spectrometer while propane (C3H8), propylene (C3H6), propyne (C3H4), n-butane (n-C4H10) and iso-butane (iso-C4H10) were the interferents, which might exist in the dissolved gas but are not currently used as analytes for detecting an internal fault. The instrument parameters and analysis approach are first introduced. Specifically, an absorption spectra reading approach by switching two cone-type gas cells into separate light-paths was presented for reducing the effects of gas in the gaps between gas cells and spectrometers, scanning the background spectrum without clearing the sample cell, and increasing the dynamics. Then, the instrument was tested with a standard gas mixture that was extracted from insulation oil in a power transformer. The testing results show that the detection limit of every analyte component is lower than 0.1 μL/L, and the detection limits of all analytes meet the detection requirements of oil-dissolved gas analysis, which means that the FT-IR spectrometer may be an ideal instrument due to its benefits, such as being maintenance-free and having a high stability.

  • Separation and Identification of Functional Groups of Molecules Responsible for Fluorescence of Biodiesel Using FTIR Spectroscopy and Principal Component Analysis

    摘要: In order to separate and identify functional groups of molecules responsible for fluorescence compounds present in biodiesel, a column chromatography coupled with infrared spectroscopy and multivariate analysis was performed. A biodiesel sample was packed in a chromatographic column and the fractions obtained were used to perform the analyses. Before undergoing the separation process, the biodiesel sample was analyzed by light emitting diode (LED)-induced fluorescence and compared its spectrum with β-carotene and soybean oil patterns. The low cost and speed of analysis suggest that this technique can be used in the separation of biodiesel substances. The fluorescence emission spectra allowed identifying molecules such as β-carotene, in which the spectrum of its pattern exhibited fluorescence within a region ranging from 500 to 700 nm and chlorophyll molecules. When soybean oil is excited at around 405 nm, it features a fluorescent emission band within the region of 670 nm, which reveals the presence of chlorophyll. Infrared spectroscopy coupled with principal component analysis allowed to discriminate the fractions and to identify the functional groups of compounds present in the sample.

  • A facile fabrication of novel stuff with antibacterial property and osteogenic promotion utilizing red phosphorus and near-infrared light

    摘要: Bone-implant materials are important for bone repairing and orthopedics surgery, which include bone plates and bone nails. These materials need to be designed not only considering its biostability and biocompatibility, but also their by-products induced infection after therapy or long-time treatment in vivo. Thus, the development of novel implant materials is quite urgent. Red phosphorus has great biocompatibility and exhibits efficient photothermal ability. Herein, a red phosphorus/IR780/arginine-glycine-asparticacid-cysteine (RGDC) coating on titanium bone-implant was prepared. The temperature sensitivity of Staphylococcus aureus biofilm is enhanced in the presence of ROS produced by IR780 with 808 nm light irradiation. With keeping the cells and tissues normal, a high antibacterial performance can be realized by near-infrared (808 nm) irradiated within 10 min at 50 °C. Besides the high effective antibacterial efficacy provided by photothermal therapy (PTT) and photodynamic therapy (PDT), the RGDC decorated surface can also possess an excellent performance in osteogenesis in vivo.

  • Thermal design and analysis of the high resolution MWIR/LWIR aerial camera

    摘要: The thermal control technology of high resolution MWIR/LWIR aerial camera is studied. Thermal design and thermal analysis of the camera are completed according to thermal control indexes of infrared aerial camera. Firstly the architecture of the aerial camera and the external working environment are introduced, the camera heat exchange model is established, and the boundary conditions of radiation, conduction, convection and aerodynamic heat are analyzed, and then the thermal design of the camera is described in detail. Finally the thermal analysis of aerial camera is done, and a heat balance test has been done for the camera. The results show that: In the speci?ed environment, after two hours work the temperature range of optical system is 18.5 ℃ to 22.2 ℃, the temperature range of lens set is 19.1 ℃ to 20.3 ℃, the temperature range of detector module is 19.7 ℃ to 31.9 ℃, meet the thermal control indexes, at the same time, under extreme operating conditions, the thermal control system can meet the start-up requirements, the thermal design is feasible and reasonable. This research method and technical route have the guidance and reference signi?cance for the thermal control design of other infrared aerial cameras.
