摘要: The asymptotical solution of the 3-D vector problem of diffraction of the field of the monopole with the uniform distributed surface impedance, placed on the ideally conducting rectangular screen with the sides sizes L and W is obtained. Within the frame of the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction the radiation field in a far zone is represented as the sum of the geometric optics field from an impedance monopole placed on infinite screen, and the diffracted fields from the rectangular screen edges. The radiation resistances are calculated by the Poynting vector method as the functions of the monopole’s surface impedance and the sizes of monopole and screen. The input impedances of the same monopoles on the square screens have calculated using commercial software too. It is shown that at all surface impedances and monopole’s lengths the radiation and input resistances reach maximum at L=W=0.9 of wavelength.

Fast and accurate model for a coax-fed rectangular patch antenna with varying aspect ratio, feed location and substrate electrical parameters
摘要: An improved closed-form model based on cavity model and single resonant parallel R-L-C circuit analysis is proposed to predict the resonant frequency, quality factor, bandwidth, gain and input impedance of a coax-fed rectangular patch antenna as a function of aspect ratio, feed location and substrate electrical parameters. The computed values employing the present model are compared with our experimental results and experimental results available in open literature. We have also employed electromagnetic high-frequency structure simulator (HFSS) software to validate the model. The present model shows very close agreements with the experimental and simulation results compared to the other models. This model is very simple, fast and accurate. The present model can be directly applied to CAD program.

摘要: In this study, a single-fed circularly polarized (CP) patch antenna working at 1.23 GHz is presented and realized. The quality factor of patch antenna is driven by its input impedance. The proposed patch antenna is properly combined with an actual pacemaker for enhancement of its radiation performance. Another patch antenna with miniaturized size is designed, fabricated, and tested. The simulated results are found in good agreement with its measured one.

摘要: A circular microstrip patch antenna with radius 15mm had been designed to generate three resonating frequency bands with centre frequencies 2.129GHz, 2.6425GHz and 3.2205GHz respectively. Patch of the antenna had been slotted with three V-slots. Along with this, the patch and ground of the antenna had been shorted using metallic post of radius 0.63mm. Size and position of three V-slots and post position had been optimized to generate three resonating frequency bands for triple band application. Co-axial probe of inner conductor radius 0.63mm and outer conductor radius 1.45mm was used to excite the antenna. The said antenna had been investigated over 1-4GHz frequency range using HFSS version13 simulation software. Input impedance, Gain and radiation pattern of the antenna was evaluated over 1-4GHz frequency range.

Input Impedance and Efficiency Analysis of Graphene-Based Plasmonic Nanoantenna Using Theory of Characteristic Modes
摘要: In this letter, the input impedance and radiation efficiency analysis of graphene-based plasmonic nano-antenna (GPNA) is presented utilizing the theory of characteristic mode (CM). The total input impedance and radiation efficiency values at various feed positions are accurately and efficiently obtained as the superposition of natural characteristic modes. Furthermore, the modal input impedances and the radiation efficiencies are also provided for in-depth understanding of the GPNA. This work provides a new perspective to analyze the GPNA and can be easily applied to the design and optimization of other lossy plasmonic antennas with complicated geometries.
