Laser welding process evaluation on stake-welded T-joints
摘要: Ship structural steel EH36 sheets with thickness of 3 mm were stake-welded with T-joints by using ?ber laser beam welding (LBW). Optical microscope (OM) observation, angular distortion measurement and tensile test were conducted to investigate the in?uence of defocusing distance, welding speed and line energy on the joint properties. The experiment results showed that laser stake-welded T-joints with high quality could be obtained at 1.8 m min?1 speed high, ?5 mm defocusing distance and 5 kW power. The loss of liquid metal in the misalignment condition led to severe under?ll. In addition, laser line energy and misalignment contributed signi?cantly to welding angular distortion. The welding width between face panel and web panel exerted an important in?uence on the tensile properties. Moreover, the thermal distortion process induced by ?ber laser welding has been schematically illustrated and systematically revealed.

摘要: To improve the interoperability and misalignment tolerance of the inductive power transfer (IPT) system, the concepts of circular rotating magnetic field control and elliptical rotating field orientated control(FOC) are proposed in this paper. The method of analogy analysis between LIM (liner inductive motor) and IPT is adopted to improve the magnetic field distribution characteristics. Detailed output voltage derivation of circular pads and DD pads under misalignment are given. An approximate calculation model is built to study the influence of end effect and gap variation on magnetic field distribution. Experimental results verify the laws of circular magnetic field and elliptical magnetic field.

Advanced Operation of Microcolumn by Introducing Misalign Corrector
摘要: We introduced an advanced operation of a microcolumn to recover electron beam properties caused by electrodes misalign. The misalign corrector consists of a pair of electrodes and each electrode is divided by four even parts. We confirmed that by applying appropriate bias voltage to some parts of the corrector, electron beam trajectory could be adjusted. As a result, it is found that the corrector can be an useful electron unit to obtain fine electron beam properties.

摘要: Multiple transmitters are widely used to solve the problem of lateral misalignment between coils in wireless power transfer (WPT). The effective control method is one of the guarantees to improve the performance of the WPT system. Based on theoretical modeling and mechanism analysis, this paper proposes a novel switching control method to select the optimal transmitter, which includes the control criteria of single transmitter and dual transmitters. Compared to other control methods of using coupling coefficient, the proposed method is easier to implement switching control and improves system reliability. The experimental results show that the proposed switching control method can effectively select the optimal working mode and increase lateral misalignment tolerance for the WPT system.

On-Orbit Camera Misalignment Estimation Framework and Its Application to Earth Observation Satellite
摘要: Despite the efforts for precise alignment of imaging sensors and attitude sensors before launch, the accuracy of pre-launch alignment is limited. The misalignment between attitude frame and camera frame is especially important as it is related to the localization error of the spacecraft, which is one of the essential factors of satellite image quality. In this paper, a framework for camera misalignment estimation is presented with its application to a high-resolution earth-observation satellite—Deimos-2. The framework intends to provide a solution for estimation and correction of the camera misalignment of a spacecraft, covering image acquisition planning to mathematical solution of camera misalignment. Considerations for effective image acquisition planning to obtain reliable results are discussed, followed by a detailed description on a practical method for extracting many GCPs automatically using reference ortho-photos. Patterns of localization errors that commonly occur due to the camera misalignment are also investigated. A mathematical model for camera misalignment estimation is described comprehensively. The results of simulation experiments showing the validity and accuracy of the misalignment estimation model are provided. The proposed framework was applied to Deimos-2. The real-world data and results from Deimos-2 are presented.

摘要: An alternative architecture for imaging multiple-input/multiple-output (MIMO) underwater wireless optical communications (UWOCs) is proposed which relies on the transmission in angle rather than directly in space. The angular MIMO (A-MIMO) system has advantages over conventional underwater MIMO systems (C-MIMO) in that the image magni?cation is invariant to link range, and angular transmission greatly relaxes the alignment requirements of such links. These features are especially important for underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs), where the maintaining alignment between underwater vehicles and ?oating sensors nodes may be dif?cult in such dynamic environments. In this paper, we describe the architecture of A-MIMO for underwater channels and numerically characterize it in clear and coastal seawater conditions. For comparison a C-MIMO underwater system with similar parameters is also characterized and the channel capacities for A-MIMO and a C-MIMO are contrasted against link distances and misalignment errors. The numerical results show that A-MIMO maintains the link capacity against the misalignment conditions far better than C-MIMO while using a smaller size transceiver.

摘要: The offset between the primary and secondary couplers of the Loose-Coupled Transformer (LCT) results in deviation in the efficiency of the wireless transmission system. In order to obtain higher efficiency deviation tolerances, a three-loop LCT structure is proposed. The LCT's intermediate couplers are slightly larger than primary and secondary couplers. A 30mm air gap between primary and intermediate couplers exists. The compensation capacitance of the proposed intermediate coupler is variable. Moreover, when the horizontal or vertical offset between the primary and secondary couplers reaches 200 mm or 50 mm, respectively, the intermediate couplers can move with the secondary couplers. At the same time, the proposed LCT control strategy is optimized. A 3-kW prototype was developed for experimental verification, which proved the effectiveness of proposed LCT and control strategy.

Risk factors for early flap misalignment following microkeratome-assisted laser in situ keratomileusis: A retrospective large database analysis
摘要: Purpose: To determine factors associated with early flap misalignment following microkeratome-assisted laser in situ keratomileusis. Materials and Methods: This retrospective study included the right eyes of consecutive patients who underwent laser in situ keratomileusis procedure between 2005 and 2016 at Care-Vision Laser Centers, Tel-Aviv, Israel. Patients were divided into two groups according to whether or not they subsequently developed early flap misalignment. Results: A total of 14,582 eyes (mean age of patients: 32.4 ± 10.3 years) were included. Post-laser in situ keratomileusis early flap misalignment developed in 158 eyes (1.1%). Misalignment was more frequent during the spring (32.3% vs 22.8%, p = 0.003) and in a higher operating room temperature (23.34 ± 1.06 vs 22.98 ± 1.26, p < 0.001). In addition, in the misalignment group, there was a higher rate with the of use of the a Moria M2 microkeratome (rather than sub-Bowman’s keratomileusis microkeratome) head (55.2% vs 40.5%, respectively, p < 0.001). In a multivariable analysis adjusted for surgeon and year of surgery, high operating room temperature (odds ratio = 1.22, p = 0.006), treatment zone of 9.0 mm (as opposed to smaller treatment zones, odds ratio = 1.54, p = 0.04), and springtime (odds ratio = 1.58, p = 0.02) were associated with flap misalignment. There was a significant difference in misalignment rates between surgeons (p = 0.02). Conclusion: This study found that larger treatment zones, higher operating room temperature, operating during the spring, and the use of Moria M2 microkeratome were associated with increased flap misalignment rates. The association with operating room temperature and seasonal variation is of interest and merits further research.

Study of gap and misalignment tolerances at hybrid laser arc welding of thick-walled steel with electromagnetic weld pool support system
摘要: The hybrid laser arc welding (HLAW) process provides many advantages such as improved gap bridgeability, deep penetration and misalignment of edges, that is why the process is used increasingly in industrial applications e.g. shipbuilding, power plant industry and line-pipe manufacturing. The obvious encountered problem for single pass welding in flat position is the gravity drop-out at low welding velocities. With the usage of an electromagnetic weld pool support system, which is based on generating Lorentz forces within the weld pool, wide seams followed by reduced welding velocities could be achieved in this study leading to the realization of a gap bridgeability up to 1 mm, misalignment of edges up to 2 mm and a single pass weld up to 28 mm thickness with a 20-kW fibre laser. These developments expand the boundaries of the HLAW process for different industrial applications. As a result, less accurate preparation of the edges would be sufficient, which saves time for manufacturing.

A Misalignment Optical Guiding Module for Power Generation Enhancement of Fixed-Type Photovoltaic Systems
摘要: This study presents a misalignment light-guiding module to increase the effectiveness of absorbing light. For a general fixed-type photovoltaic (PV) panel, the misalignment light decreases the efficiency of the system. A solar tracking system was installed for obtaining higher power generation. However, the cost of the PV system and maintenance was 5–10 times higher than the general type. In this study, this module is composed of an array of misalignment light-guiding units that consist of a non-axisymmetric compound parabolic curve (NACPC) and a freeform surface collimator. The NACPC efficiently collects the misalignment light within ±30° and guides the light to the collimator. The light has a better uniformity and smaller angle at the exit aperture. The simulation results show that the optical efficiency of the unit was above 70% when the misalignment angle was smaller than 20°. The experimental results show that the power generation of the light-guiding unit was 1.8 times higher than the naked PV panel.
