研究目的
Investigating the fabrication and properties of boron-doped diamond (BDD) composites using high-pressure and high-temperature sintering (HPHT) for potential applications in sewage treatment industry.
研究成果
BDD-Al3BC3 composite electrodes showed similar conductivities and hole concentrations to those synthesized by CVD. The electrodes had electron transfer coefficients close to 0.5 with elevated apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constants, indicating excellent reversibilities and electrocatalytic activities. BDD electrode achieved excellent degradation of methylene blue simulated dye wastewater within 120 min with decolourization rate reaching over 97%.
研究不足
The high cost of BDD films fabricated by CVD often limits their large-scale applications. Densification of BDD powder is very difficult to achieve due to its strong covalent bonds and low self-diffusion coefficient.
