1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved the synthesis of hybrid nanostructures using Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane (POSS) functionalized with terpyridine moieties for complexation with Europium (III) ions. The methodology included UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopies for characterization.

M-POSS and O-POSS were synthesized and characterized via 1H-, 13C- and 29Si-NMR. The stoichiometry of the complexes was determined through titration experiments.
