研究目的
Investigating the therapeutic effects of a specific herbal medicine on a particular disease.
研究成果
The study concludes that hollow core Bragg fiber waveguides with a defect layer can be effectively used for biosensing applications. The defect mode peak in the photonic band gap region is identified as a more appropriate sensing signal compared to the whole photonic band gap. The sensitivity, detection accuracy, and quality parameter of the sensor systems are improved by monitoring the peak of defect mode. The study also highlights that the low contrast Bragg fiber waveguide with defect mode is recommended for sensing applications due to its smaller FWHM of the defect peak.
研究不足
The study is theoretical and does not include experimental validation. The performance of the proposed waveguide structures is analyzed based on simulations and theoretical models, which may not fully capture real-world conditions and variations.
