1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study employed gradient centrifugation with controllable introduction of isopropanol as a poor solvent to separate non-uniform AIZS QDs into five individual samples. ECL tests were then performed on these samples to screen for high-quality photocatalysts.

Crude AIZS QDs were synthesized via a hydrothermal method and separated into five fractions (AIZS-#1 to AIZS-#5) using gradient centrifugation.

The crude QDs were separated by gradient centrifugation with isopropanol, followed by ECL testing to identify high-activity components. Photocatalytic hydrogen production tests were conducted to evaluate the performance of the separated QDs.

The photocatalytic performance was evaluated based on hydrogen production rates, and ECL intensity was used to correlate with surface states and photocatalytic activity.
