研究目的
To assess the efficacy of Er:YAG laser, pastes containing CPP?ACP with and without fluoride and their combination for prevention of white spot lesions in the enamel.
研究成果
Er:YAG laser was able to decrease demineralization and was a potential alternative to preventive dentistry and was more effective when combined with CPP?ACP products.
研究不足
In vitro studies have limitations in simulation of oral environment. The effect of these products on WSLs should also be evaluated in clinical studies.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study was an in vitro experimental design comparing the efficacy of Er:YAG laser and CPP?ACP pastes with and without fluoride on enamel remineralization.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
90 extracted sound premolars were used, divided into six groups.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Er:YAG laser (KEY Laser 3+, Kavo Dental Corp.), GC MI Paste Plus, GC Tooth Mousse, hardness tester (FM?700 type D, Future?Tech).
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
Teeth were subjected to pH cycling, sectioned, polished, and underwent microhardness testing.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
ANOVA and Tukey’s test were used for statistical analysis.
