研究目的
To propose and analyze two low cross-talk and wide bandwidth waveguide intersections based on novel types of resonators created using rotated photonic crystal lattices for TE polarization.
研究成果
The study successfully proposed and analyzed two low cross-talk and wide bandwidth waveguide intersections based on novel types of resonators. The maximum bandwidths achieved are 49.1 nm and 39.6 nm for crossings of two and three waveguides, respectively. The proposed devices are compact and can be used in high density integrated circuits.
研究不足
The study is limited to TE polarization and the proposed structures are designed to operate at the optical communication wavelength of 1550 nm. The performance of the waveguide crossings can affect the overall performance of the photonic device, indicating a need for optimized design.
