The aim of this study targets the performance analysis and the economic evaluation of two photovoltaic systems connected to the grid of 4.08 KWp, located in the same place in the roof of the research building at the Faculty of Sciences and Technologies Mohammedia, Morocco.

The pc-Si technology showed slightly higher performance compared to mc-Si in terms of final yield, performance ratio, capacity factor, and system efficiency. The economic analysis indicated a payback time of approximately 12 years for pc-Si and 12.63 years for mc-Si, with LCOE values of 0.075€/kWh and 0.077€/kWh, respectively, at a discount rate of 2.5%. The pc-Si technology is recommended for future research projects in Morocco.
