研究目的
To analyze the influence of local short-term heat treatment on the formability of aluminium extrusion profiles by experimental bending tests, aiming to enhance maximum reachable bending angles and reduce cross section deformations.
研究成果
Local short-term heat treatment can significantly enhance the bending properties of aluminium extrusion profiles. The best results were achieved with heat treatment on the flanks at a distance of 10 mm to the centre, yielding a maximum bending angle of 96.5°±1.3°. Heat treatment on the inner radius also improved bending angles and reduced lateral bulging. However, the choice of heat treatment layout and distance to the profile centre is critical to avoid adverse effects.
研究不足
The study is limited to aluminium extrusion profiles of specific dimensions and a single alloy (EN AW-6005). The influence of bending parameters on the optimum heat treatment layout and the combination of heat treatment layouts on different sides of the profile are areas for further investigation.
