研究目的
Investigating the use of conjugated polyelectrolyte with a tetravalent amine-end side chain as a cathode interlayer in polymer solar cells to enhance power conversion efficiency.
研究成果
The study successfully demonstrated that PBTBTz-TMAI, a conjugated polyelectrolyte with a tetravalent amine-end side chain, can significantly enhance the performance of polymer solar cells when used as a cathode interlayer. The optimal concentration and thickness of the interlayer were found to be crucial for achieving high power conversion efficiencies, with the non-fullerene PBDB-T:ITIC-based device reaching up to 10.5% efficiency. The enhanced performance is attributed to improved energy level alignment and efficient electron transfer facilitated by the tetravalent amine groups.
研究不足
The study does not address the long-term stability of the devices under operational conditions beyond 16 hours in air. The optimization of interlayer thickness and concentration is specific to the materials used, and results may vary with different active layers or device architectures.
