研究目的
To extract material parameters for more complex multilayer organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and to learn about charge transport and injection properties of the device by combining simulation and measurements in steady-state and frequency domain.
研究成果
The study successfully performs material parameter extraction by combining measurements and drift-diffusion simulations in steady-state and frequency domain on single-carrier devices and multilayer OLEDs. The global fit of multiple devices and measurement techniques decreases the parameter correlation and increases the sensitivity, essential for a reliable set of parameters. Future studies could analyze material parameters as a function of degradation to identify critical layers and material parameters causing limited device lifetimes.
研究不足
The study acknowledges the complexity of modeling a multilayer OLED due to many material parameters involved and the challenge of finding a unique solution without prior knowledge. The simulation software's limitation to handle only one electron and one hole transport level per layer is noted.
