研究目的
To prepare monometallic (Ag and Pd) and bimetallic (Ag-Pd) NPs using PLAL and estimate their catalytic activity in selective oxidation of PG with oxygen in alkali media.
研究成果
Bimetallic Ag/Pd composites demonstrated high activity in PG oxidation to LA in alkaline media. The highest catalytic activity and selectivity towards LA was demonstrated by monometallic Pd. The enhancement of oxygen pressure and reaction temperature led to increasing in the LA selectivity.
研究不足
The study is limited by the conditions of PLAL and the catalytic tests, including the reaction temperature and oxygen pressure. The formation of undetected by-products may affect the carbon mass balance.
