研究目的
To investigate and develop a novel low-cost electrode material for nitrite sensing, demonstrating excellent electrochemical response and suitability for disposable point-of-care nitrite sensors.
研究成果
The AuNPs/MWCNT modified LIG electrodes demonstrated good electrochemical behavior and are promising for use in disposable nitrite electrochemical sensors, with a detection limit of 6.75 μM.
研究不足
The study focuses on the electrochemical detection of nitrite using modified LIG electrodes. Potential limitations include the specificity of the sensor towards nitrite in complex matrices and the scalability of the fabrication process.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study employed laser engraving to fabricate LIG electrodes on Kapton polymer substrate, modified with AuNPs, MWCNT, and AuNPs/MWCNT. Characterization was done using SEM-EDX, CV, and EIS.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Sodium nitrite, phosphate buffer, and other chemicals were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich. Aqueous dispersion of cationic AuNPs and MWCNT-COOH/isopropanol dispersion were prepared.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
PalmSens 4 potentiostat, SEM FEI Nova NanoSEM 200, and EDX analytical detector were used.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
LIG electrodes were fabricated by laser writing, modified with nanomaterials, and characterized. Electrochemical measurements were conducted to evaluate nitrite detection.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Data from CV, EIS, and SWV were analyzed to assess the electrochemical performance and nitrite detection capability.
