研究目的
To improve the detection level to 0.5 mg/L bias on DO sensors for the data in (Samuelsson et al., 2018) and to conduct the study with realistic constraints needed for a full-scale implementation.
研究成果
Active fault detection can provide timely information about biofilm formation on DO sensors, improving sensor maintenance. Two FD-methods, RTi and GPR2se, reached the goal to improve the detection limit to 0.5 mg/L bias caused by biofilm fouling. The study highlighted the difficulty in conducting automatic fault detection, especially in tuning the alarm threshold with small normal training datasets.
研究不足
The study faced challenges in automatic tuning of alarm thresholds with small training datasets, representing only normal conditions. The detection performance was more related to how well the training data represented normal variations rather than the complexity of the FD-method used.
