研究目的
To demonstrate the synthesis of cesium lead bromide (CsPbBr3) perovskite magic sized clusters (PMSCs) and control the transformation from CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) to PMSCs by varying the amount of organic carboxylic acids (CAs) along with benzylamine (BZA) as capping ligands at room temperature.
研究成果
The study successfully synthesized CsPbBr3 PMSCs and controlled their transformation from PQDs by varying the amount of organic carboxylic acids and BZA as capping ligands at room temperature. High concentration of CAs favors CsPbBr3 PMSCs over PQDs, with PAA being a stronger ligand than MAA and OA. The results suggest that PMSCs require better passivation or stronger ligands than PQDs, establishing a simple and general method for synthesizing CsPbBr3 PMSCs.
研究不足
The study is limited by the challenging synthesis of lead halide perovskite MSCs and their structural characterization difficulties due to their tendency to grow into larger structures when dried into solid form from solution.
