研究目的
Investigating the therapeutic effects of a 1060-nm high-power diode laser on the removal of vascular lesions.
研究成果
The feasibility of vascular lesion elimination with a 1060-nm high-power diode laser has been demonstrated in two patients with no major side effects. The procedure was effective and safe and it represents the appearance of a new therapeutic alternative for this indication, however, data with more patients are needed to support this conclusion.
研究不足
The study only involved two patients, which may not be sufficient to generalize the findings. More data with more patients are needed to support the conclusion.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved treating vascular lesions with a 1060-nm high-power diode laser, applying a fluence of 120 J/cm2 and a single pulse duration of 74 milliseconds.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Two Caucasian women with Fitzpatrick skin phototype II, who had various vascular lesions, were treated.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
A 1060-nm Primelase Excellence Diode laser was used.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The skin was cooled to 5°C with the cold sapphire tip of the diode applicator for 1 to 3 seconds before applying a single shot to each vascular lesion.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The immediate and follow-up results of the treatment were observed and recorded.
