研究目的
The present study deals within the recovering and separation of Si and SiC from photovoltaic slurry waste generating from Silicon ingot cutting process.
研究成果
This study was aimed to recover two important materials Si and SiC from photovoltaic slurry waste generating from Silicon ingot cutting process. Different treatments were conducted giving us the following results. Primary decantation has permeated to separate the effluent into two different phases’ namely dark sludge (DS) and dark liquid (DL). Extraction operation (Deoiling) using acetone with the ratio 1:1 for DL phase and 2:1 for DS has released 99% of settling rate and total recovery lubricant oil. Heavy metals have been removed by acid leaching using nitric acid treatment. After that, two types of powders DS-1 rich in Si and DS-2 rich in SiC have been separated and recovered. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled to energy dispersive x-ray spectrometry (EDXS), x-ray diffraction (XRD) and particles size distribution analysis (PSD) have confirmed the separation of Si and SiC particles giving the elementary composition of recovered powders and indicating particles sizes. Recovered SiC-rich powder was reused effectively in Cu2O-SiC composite by electroless deposition in chemical bath under experimental controlled parameters of temperature, pH, concentrations of adjutants, stirring velocity and time of chemical plating.
研究不足
The separation technique has never been used so far. The use of only two chemical products is in favor with environmental respect.
