The study successfully synthesized ZnO particle and flower-like morphology assembled semicrystalline β phase PVDF/BT nanocomposite with enhanced dielectric, ferroelectric, and mechanical properties. The nanocomposite showed promising capabilities for energy storage applications, transducers, sensors, and capacitors.

1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study employed a simple solution route and solvothermal method to synthesize ZnO particles and flower-like structures. β-phase PVDF nanocomposite films were synthesized by spin coating method.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
PVDF (16 wt%) was dissolved in DMSO, and suspensions of functionalized BaTiO3 (BT-30 wt %) and ZnO (10 wt %) were added.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Materials included PVDF, BaTiO3, dimethyl sulfoxide, Hydrogen peroxide, Zinc acetate, Potassium hydroxide, tri-sodium citrate dehydrate, Sodium hydroxide. Equipment used were SEM (Carl Zeiss EVO-18), XRD (Bruker AXS D8 Advance), FTIR (Thermo Nicolet, Avatar 370), Radiant Ferroelectric Tester, alpha impedance analyzer, Gamry electrochemical system, Cinius Olfen H10KT.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The composite films were prepared by spin coating and annealed. Characterization was done using XRD, SEM, EDS, FTIR, P-E hysteresis, dielectric study, cyclic voltammetry, chronopotentiometry, and tensile testing.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Data analysis included calculation of crystallite size, β-phase content, energy band gap, dielectric constant, energy density, and mechanical properties.
