The introduction of interfacial voids in CsPbIBr2 PSCs significantly improves their efficiency, photovoltage, and stability. The optimized PSC achieved a record-high Voc of 1.338 V and maintained excellent stability under thermal and humidity stresses.

The study focuses on CsPbIBr2 PSCs and may not be directly applicable to other perovskite compositions. The long-term stability under extreme conditions beyond 85 °C and 60 days was not tested.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study introduces interfacial voids between TiO2 electron transport layer and CsPbIBr2 absorber by thermal decomposition of 2-phenylethylammonium iodide (PEAI).

CsPbIBr2 films were prepared on FTO/TiO2 substrates with and without PEAI loading.
