研究目的
To introduce techniques for improving photocatalytic performances of CeO2, reveal its fundamental mechanisms, and summarize recent researches about photodegradation of organic pollutants in wastewater over CeO2-based photocatalysts.
研究成果
CeO2-based photocatalysts are efficient for disposing organic pollutants in wastewater. Modified CeO2 may be a promising catalyst for future environmental treatment. However, challenges such as capacity loss and recovery in recycle use, complex preparation processes, and limited understanding of degradation mechanisms and charge transfer pathways need to be addressed for real application.
研究不足
The review highlights the challenges in the capacity loss and recovery of photocatalyst in recycle use, the complexity and low yield of some preparation processes, and the limited use of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) as model organic pollutants in studies.
