The article presents an analytical method for predicting the phase stability in multicomponent solid solutions, which can be used to predict the formation of modulated structures. The results are in agreement with experimental data and suggest the model's applicability for predicting the occurrence of more than two simultaneously coexisting phases with more detailed experimental data.
