研究目的
To identify new effective materials and the possibilities of their practical application in modern technology, in particular, in sensor technology, by studying the bulk and surface physicochemical properties of multicomponent semiconductors (solid solutions) of systems of the AIIBVI—AIIBVI type.
研究成果
The study demonstrated the role of coordination-unsaturated atoms as active centers of atomic-molecular interactions and justified predictions of the surface activity of binary and more complex diamond-like semiconductors to gases of different electronic natures. It also highlighted the effect of the common component, cadmium telluride, on the properties of solid solutions of both systems.
研究不足
The study is limited to the analysis of CdS–CdTe and CdSe–CdTe systems, and the findings may not be directly applicable to other semiconductor systems without further research.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved comprehensive analysis of volume (structural, optical, electrophysical) and surface (acid-base, adsorption) properties of solid solutions and binary components of the CdS–CdTe and CdSe–CdTe systems.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Fine powders and nanoscale films of CdS, CdSe, CdTe and their solid solutions were prepared by isothermal diffusion and discrete thermal sputtering in vacuum.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
X-ray studies were carried out on an Advance D8 diffractometer, electron microscopy using a JCM-5700 scanning electron microscope, UV spectra recorded on a UV-2501PC spectrophotometer, and adsorption studied using a piezoelectric quartz microbalance.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The study included X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, UV spectroscopy, acid-base characteristics determination, and adsorption studies.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Statistical processing of the obtained values, calculation of the measurement errors, and plotting and processing of graphical dependencies were carried out using the computer programs Stat-2, Microsoft Exel and Origin.
