研究目的
To integrate the existing solar radiation apparatus with a Raspberry Pi for remote data retrieval, to make the assembly water-proof to withstand the rainfall and humidity in Manipal, to utilise historical meteorological data to formulate different models for monthly mean global solar radiation estimation, and to validate the models with the real time data obtained from Innovation Center, MIT Manipal.
研究成果
Four genetic algorithm models were developed to predict the monthly mean global solar radiation in Manipal, with Model I identified as the best. The GA model's advantage is its ability to explicitly express output in terms of input parameters, unlike ANN models. The study demonstrates the potential of using Raspberry Pi and Genetic Algorithms for solar radiation estimation, offering a cost-effective solution for areas lacking extensive meteorological stations.
研究不足
High maintenance and calibration costs of solar measurement instruments limit the availability of solar radiation data in many meteorological stations. The study's models require validation with real-time data for broader applicability.
