研究目的
Investigating the efficiency of Pd2+- and Pd0-loaded graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (r-GO) as photocatalysts for the Suzuki-Miyaura C-C coupling reaction under visible light.
研究成果
Pd2+-r-GO is a highly efficient catalyst for visible-light-induced Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions, showing superior performance compared to Pd0-loaded catalysts and other semiconductor-based photocatalysts. The synergic effects of photoexcited electron transfer and the photothermal effect of r-GO contribute to its high catalytic activity.
研究不足
The study focuses on the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction and may not be directly applicable to other types of coupling reactions. The efficiency of the catalysts under different light intensities and wavelengths was not explored.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study involved the preparation of Pd2+-GO, Pd0-NP-GO, Pd2+-r-GO, and Pd0-NP-r-GO catalysts and their characterization using UV-Vis, Raman, XPS, and TEM. The photocatalytic activities were evaluated under various conditions including dark, light at 25°C, and thermal conditions at 60°C.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
The reactions were performed using phenylboronic acid and iodobenzene as reactants.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
A Xe lamp (
4:5 W?cm-2) was used for light irradiation. HPLC equipped with a UV detector was used for analysis. Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The coupling reactions were conducted in a Pyrex reactor under controlled conditions.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The yield of the product was calculated based on HPLC analysis, and TOF values were determined.
