研究目的
The main aim of the present study is the development of a new biocomposite material to use for thermal insulation in a solar collector using a natural low cost date palm–gypsum component material. The performance of the composite was also analysed.
研究成果
The experimental work concluded that date palm wood, especially when combined with gypsum, can be an effective thermal insulating material for solar air collectors, offering higher thermal efficiency compared to traditional glass wool insulation. This natural material is also recommended for its availability and non-hazardous nature.
研究不足
The study is limited to the specific conditions and materials tested in the Ouargla region, south of Algeria. The performance of the solar collectors may vary under different environmental conditions or with different configurations.
