研究目的
Investigating the synthesis, characterization, thermal, and optical absorption and emission properties of two new trans-platinum(II) bis(acetylide) complexes containing one thiophenol moiety in each alkenyl backbone.
研究成果
The synthesized platinum(II) bis(acetylide) complexes exhibit good thermal stabilities and luminescent properties in the blue region, suggesting potential applications in optoelectronic devices. The study provides a foundation for further research into the functionalization of platinum(II) complexes with thiophenol and their optical properties.
研究不足
The study focuses on the synthesis and characterization of specific platinum(II) complexes, with limited exploration of their applications in optoelectronic devices.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection
Photochemical synthesis was employed for the functionalization of platinum(II) bis(acetylide) complexes with thiophenol under nitrogen atmosphere using a 500 W tungsten lamp.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources
The compounds HC≡C–C6H4–C≡CH and HC≡C–C6H2(p-CH3)2–C≡CH were prepared by literature methods. NMR spectra were recorded on a Bruker 400 MHz FT NMR spectrometer in CDCl3.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials
Bruker 400 MHz FT NMR spectrometer, Shimadzu IR Prestige 21 Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, JMS-T100LC spectrometer for ESI-HR mass spectra, Shimadzu UV-1800 spectrometer for UV–Vis spectra, Shimadzu RF-3501pc spectrofluorometer for PL spectra, Shimadzu TGA-50 thermogravimetric analyzer for thermal analysis.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow
A mixture of trans-platinum(II) bis(acetylide) complex and thiophenol in chloroform was photoirradiated for 3 h. The reaction product was purified by column chromatography.
5:Data Analysis Methods
UV/Vis and photoluminescence spectra were analyzed to determine optical properties. Thermal stability was assessed via TGA.
