研究目的
To review synthesis, thermal and optoelectronic properties of low-molar-mass carbazole-based derivatives as well as their application in OLEDs or PhOLED devices as charge injecting/transporting materials, emitters or host materials of phosphorescent dopants.

The low-molar mass carbazole-based electroactive derivatives are promising as hole transporting materials, emitting materials and host materials for various organic light emitting diodes, and further investigation of new carbazole compounds is actively ongoing to improve the performances of the devices.

Further development of host materials and lifetime study are required for use in commercial products.
