The study demonstrates that an ensemble of CPBs can act as highly non-linear meta-materials for electromagnetic waves, capable of enhancing non-linearity and exhibiting optical hysteresis in certain regimes. It also shows that under finite environmental couplings and in the charge dominant regime, CPBs can mediate energy conversion from the environment to coherent fields, amplifying the electromagnetic field.
