研究目的
To investigate the effect of Te proportion on the physical, thermal and optical properties of Ge-Sb-Se glasses.
研究成果
The study concludes that increasing Te content in Ge25Sb10Se65-xTex glasses enhances density and Vickers hardness, decreases characteristic temperatures, and slightly varies the thermal expansion coefficient. The Tg value achieved by DSC is higher than that of TMA, providing a reference for characteristic temperature measurement.
研究不足
The study focuses on the effect of Te proportion on the properties of Ge-Sb-Se glasses but does not explore the potential for further optimization or application-specific modifications.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study prepared four different glasses of Ge25Sb10Se65-xTex (x=5,10,15,20) by conventional melt quenching technique in quartz ampoule.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Pure elements including Ge (
3:99 %), Sb (999 %), Se (99 %) and Te (999 %) were mixed together in a silica-glass ampoule. List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
XRD, FTIR spectroscopy, Vickers hardness tester, DSC, and TMA were used for characterization.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The samples were synthesized at 950-980 °C for 12 h, then quenched quickly in air.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The optical transparency, Vickers hardness, thermal expansion coefficient, and characteristic temperature were analyzed.
