1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study employed a thermal decomposition method for synthesizing Gd2O3:Eu nanoparticles and a sol–gel chemical process for silica layer surface coating.

Materials included Gd2O3, Eu2O3, NH4OH, NaOH, ethyl alcohol, urea, tetraethyl-orthosilicate (TEOS), and N-cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB).
