The synthesis of CoTe2 nanosheets was carried out using an atmospheric pressure chemical vapor deposition (APCVD) approach.

Cobalt chloride (CoCl2) powder and tellurium (Te) powder were used as the source materials, with silicon chips (with 285 nm SiO2) as the growth substrate.

The morphology and thickness of the nanosheets were characterized using OM and AFM, the crystal structure and phase purity were determined by XRD, and the chemical composition was analyzed by EDX.
